This show makes a steady appearance on The Soup.
I haven't watched cable in like, literally YEARS. I was over at a friend's house when I flipped past this show and it just blew my mind.

Yeah, Boohbah's f*cked up. I was scanning one night and found that, and was sort of mesmerized, although I know I was not tripping nearly as much as the people working on that show. I don't let my boy watch that one.
Lazytown isn't bad, and the music is actually tolerable for adults (ie, it's not Raffi or Barney or "Old McDonald" stuff).
They Might Be Giants has a CD/DVD called "Here Come the ABCs" that has got some bizarre videos on it as well.

Nick sure has changed from the days of Pinwheel and Today's Special....of course, those were probably a little messed up as well.

I think it's safe to say that the whole world is going to collapse when the kids who grown up on this nonsense reach adulthood.

that show is just a watered down kids safe version of wondershowzen. now that was a show that was out there and so damn good. it brings a tear to my eye to know its probably gone.

My nephew watches this shit sometimes. And every morning I wake expecting him to be standing next to my bed with a butcher's knife in his hands.

That's awesome. Biz on a kid's show? Even better.

Complainers better go back to Sesame Street, Electric Company, 1-2-3 Contact, or whatever you watched as a kid and see if you find that this really differs all that dramatically.

And Biz being on the show is as badass as Johnny Cash being on Sesame Street.

thats good but his one with Oscar the Grouch is classic

Its cowritten by the lead singer of the Aquabats if that tells ya anything....... Wacky ass mormons.......

It's odd, to say the least.

My girls like The Backyardigans and Jack's Big Music Show. Fairly sane stuff.

And, did you know that Johnny Cash made a children's album? My kids listen to it every night to help them sleep.

My daughter (just turned 2), absolutely loves this show. It was co-created by The Aquabats and has had music appearances by The Aggrolites, the Aquabats (obviously), and The Shins.

It is one crazy-assed show but it makes me laugh to see my daughter dancing her little butt off to "Party in my Tummy."

The funny thing is that none of the monsters on the show scare her, but when The Aquabats came on, she got scared and hugged me.
Pinwheel and Today's Special....of course, those were probably a little messed up as well.
Well, being able to top those off with You Cant Do That on Television and Adventures of Pete & Pete proabably made me the weird mildly funny person I am today.

Watching these kinds of shows with my firends daughter makes me think she's going to grow up to be a pet rock.

Can't forget about Rocko's Modern Life, we need more shows like that. To this day this episode makes me laugh...

Great show. My 2 year old loves it. (Although not as much as the backyardigans).
I personally love singing the 'jumpy jump' 'party in my tummy' and 'puppet master' songs all day throughout the house.
Aren't we the generation were Ren & Stimpy was considered a kids show?

Who are we to judge?
haha, so true. Ren and Stimpy still takes the cake for most screwed up kids show ever. but then they tried to make it adult and it failed hard. go figure.

that was a cool show until they started with all the weird underlying gay stuff.

No but it gave me an urge to play loco roco!

I'd rather have my sister watch this than something on PBS. Aggrolites performance? FOR A KIDS SHOW? fuckING AWESOME

WtF!! This shit is crazy and so is that Boobah shit too. I think the writers for these shows are on acid or something

This is the most psychotic shit I've ever seen.

I love it.

WE WANNA GO TO THE PARTY :(
THE PARTY IN YOUR TUMMY :(

If there's ever a show I could some fuckers to start screaming out I WANT TO MUSIC, this would be it.

Thank you RF.
