Absolutely feel bad for Granger. He started out at the beginning of the rebuild process and now that the team is on the edge, he's out.Gotta feel bad for Granger, injuries messed up his career and he tried so hard to adapt to a new role and got dumped in the end.
Gotta wait and see how Turner fits with the Pacers, this could really go either way.
The Cavs need better depth at center and Hawes will be a better guy to be in that spot than Henry Sims has been doing for them lately. Plus, they get rid of dead weight in Earl Clark and two of the millions of second round picks they have that will probably not amount to much.Hawes is alright. He can stretch the floor pretty well and he's a decent rebounder. But defensively, besides being a decent shot blocker, Cavs won't get much from him.
Would Love to see him on the Spurs. I hope Timmy can win one more title before he retires.Granger looking for a buyout and according to a rumor he's pissed about being traded and may sign with the Heat or Spurs if he gets bought out.
J.O. was such a beast! Shame what happened to his legs.![]()
Turning back the clock
He looks washed, can't imagine either team wanting him.Granger looking for a buyout and according to a rumor he's pissed about being traded and may sign with the Heat or Spurs if he gets bought out.
Now the Magic can finally go with a Nelson, Oladipo, Afflalo, Harris, Vucevic starting 5.Hawes is an underrated center. You'll learn to like him. He's got a very nice offensive game. Defensively he's nothing special but can rebound with the best of them. He's also in the middle of his best season so not a bad time to grab him.
In other big man news...Big Baby and Orlando agreed on a buyout.
Was a beast after six years in the league not knowing how to play at all.J.O. was such a beast! Shame what happened to his legs.
He had no chance to play or develop in Portland while they were in win now mode, he was behind Rasheed Wallace and Brian Grant. The trade to Indiana was the best thing to happen to him as far as development and play time, and he was only 22 when that happened. Was a beast after six years in the league not knowing how to play at all.
Harden shot a whopping...9 FTs? That's sure a lot of flopsSuns getting hosed hard by Harden flops and incompetent officials. Parsons trips over his own feet and gets a clear path foul really?
Did you not read the part where I clearly said Parsons tripped himself? The replay also showed that one of the Morris twins rolled into his leg as he was running and this was the cause of the trip.lol yea keep those rose tinted goggles on. Replays clear as day showed parsons foot kicking his damn own leg making him trip even both commentators acknowledge it. Then you have Dwight stepping into the lane early during that crucial ft in the final seconds. Most blatant lane violation as they come.
Oh shit! I didn't even see that until I just went back and watched the replay.Isaiah Thomas grabbing Dwight's junk right before Cousins and Dwight banged knees was cute.
Good call on Udrih. Memphis claimed him off waivers already.Udrih will probably find a team, a lot of teams were going after him before the trade deadline, but I guess the Knicks wanted too much.
MWP will probably have to retire, but I could see him joining a Chinese team haha.
Yahoo is reporting the Clips as the favorite, though many teams are interested obviously...I'm happy if a) the Mavs grab him or b) the Spurs are unable to pick him up. They're being reported as a strong second favorite.76ers have reached a buyout with Danny Granger.
That female set him up good. Damn shame.Raymond Felton was arrested on gun charges last night.
I completely disagree. There's more talent top to bottom now than there was then, and the pace of the league is much higher. So much higher, in fact, that only two teams in 1995-96 had a higher pace (possessions per game) than the league average this season. Only the Memphis Grizzlies this season have a lower average pace than league average in 1997-98, no teams in 97-98 had a pace that bested league average from 2013-14, and Memphis' pace this season would have placed them 8th in the 1999 season.Lakers.
I have the Nets vs Nuggets in tv as background noise and the nets are winning 31 to 8. 8 points for the nugs and the game is already into the second quarter. Charles Barkeley was right, there is some turrible basketball going on right now. We're about as far away from the greatness of 90's basketball as it gets.
So it's better now because they run up and down the court more?I completely disagree. There's more talent top to bottom now than there was then, and the pace of the league is much higher. Pat Riley almost single-handedly killed basketball in the 90s.
In part. Three point shooting is better, free throw shooting is better, the athletes are better, fewer turnovers are made. Basketball's growth around the world has served the NBA well.So it's better now because they run up and down the court more?
Very interesting fact.Brooklyn will be 21-9 after tonight when Kirilenko plays, 9-20 when he doesn't.
The game finished with the Lakers losing by 48 and suffering their worst loss in team history. The Clippers are up by 49 over the Lakers after three quarters.
