I hate that I have a fucking window without blinds in the livingroom. It's a half circle window that is above the other windows. It makes from 9-12 near impossible to sit on the couch.

It's pretty grotesque. I could see why you were banned. You probably should have gotten a warning to take down your sig but I guess it depends on the mod and who/how many might have complained.

It's pretty easy. Read the directions, then advance to the next screen. The one with the white boxes and grey boxes, crank your contrast all the way up so that it looks like one big white box, then lower it until you can see a slight difference between each box.

Next, with the THX logo and the boxes on top of the screen, you can either turn your brightness down until the drop shadow on THX disappears or, do it until the 7th box on top isn't visible anymore, then turn your brightness up once so that you can just barely see the 7th box.

The next color thing you can't do, you need special glasses for that, so skip it, and then go on to the next thing. Change your hue and saturation so that the red box doesn't bleed red (aka so that it doesn't look fuzzy or have a seeping effect) and set your sharpness so that the lines indicated are shark, but not too sharp. I have my sharpness set to 3 on my set, no sure if it'll be the same as yours.

That's what I tried -- not sure how well it worked though.

You have your sharpness all the way down to 3? holy crap. 3/100 right? (most of these settings seem to be based off 100...

No, mine only goes up to 10 I think. Is this the tv you have?

I'm not fond of Battle Mode, mineself.

I want to join in on Amazon Prime for $16, but I have a hard time with the though of trusting folks with no iTrader feedback. Seems frequently the folks who offer spots don't have any feedback. The current person only has two feedback.

Someone in my area is selling a boxed Sega Genesis for $20. As nice as that sounds, I've been through my retro phase and don't want to return anytime soon. Shit's expensive.

I told you. Once you throw in something like a new game or really good looking movie all reservations about buying that TV go by the wayside. Do I wish I could have maybe gotten something better? Yea, but what I got is more than good enough and movies and games just look so good.
 
Done with my final papers. Wrote since Thursday:

5x 7 Page Paper (2000 Words x5 = 10000 Words)
6 Page Paper (1750 Words)
6x 2 Page Paper (500 Words x 6 = 3000 Words)

So, 14,750 words in 4 days. Not bad.
