I start RA training next Friday, 2 full weeks (weekends included) up until move-in (labor day) weekend which is basically 7am-9pm days for me.

My classes are a joke though:
- Television: Text and Context (analyzing TV shows)
- Media Audiences (figuring out how shows are marketed to certain demographics)
- TV Programming (how timeslots and advertisers are chosen for a show, basically how networks are run)
- Rhetorical Criticism (analyzing public speeches)
Bolded for truth. This is what I'm taking in the fall.

Integrative Accounting Topic II
International Business Strategy and Integration
Managerial Economics
Disability and Society

I'll also be taking a tax class at H and R Block so I can work for them during the tax season.

Also that Stranglehold demo on the 360 is fucking awesome.
School starts the 27th for me.
My classes, however, are pretty fuckin' cool. Schedule's wack this year though. We have A, B, and C days, some of which are block days, and some of which are not.
The fuck? That's some wack shit.

Compared to yours, my classes are cake. I'm a sophomore, though.
This is the VGA adapter I bought. Hotness.
Does it just plug into the back of the 360? Also, does it affect the picture in any way, or is it simply a different cable (and if it is, then why can it upscale)?

Ouch, to be fair I need to know all the stuff in these classes, as my career goal is as to be a producer. Also, I'm a senior so I have all of my other graduation requirements done except for "credits required to graduate." so now I just take whatever.

But ya, I'm playing the Stranglehold Demo again. This is going to be the biggest surprise hit of the year.

Yes, it plugs in the back. Well, you get to choose from computer monitor resolutions once it's connected (I think you have a 1080i tv so you would choose 1920x1080.) There's some kind of "law" or some shit that doesn't allow DVDs to be upscaled through component or some ish.

I can't wait though, being the huge science/math geek I am. 3 sciences and 2 maths per day (well, not really, with our fucktarded schedule)? Yes, please .

I need to play Strikers. Haven't played that shit in two days. Haven't even touched single player. I really should. I'm really liking Peach as my captain, but her special fucking blows, which is a real disadvantage online against someone like Waluigi or Wario with an awesome special. I need a new captain who's still quick like Peach, but with a useable special.

Does anyone in the OTT even ahve Strikers?
I know Ryles asked me if I was going to get it a while back.
I'll also be taking a tax class at H and R Block so I can work for them during the tax season.
Some of those fuckers make a ton of money. My grandma has had the same guy do her taxes for over 20 years and she had him do mine last year. I asked her how much it cost and she replied simply, "You couldn't afford him :).".

I had to hold off on it because I asked for it for my birthday, but I think I'll end up picking it up.

I'm doing more or less the max I can do at Sophomore level, as far as AP and shit goes.

I don't really remember my schedule, I think it's...

 • American sign Language
 • French III Honors
 • AP World History
 • Chem Honors
 • Pre-calc Honors
 • English II Honors
 • Something else that I forget.
It all should be simple but French, because my teacher is a motherfuckin' psycho. Lady is bipolar, I swear.

I'm looking to get into Dual Enrollment for math next year, my math teacher I had last year teaches the dual enrollment course at my high school, so hopefully I can take College Algebra Junior year along with either AP Stat or Calc.

Don't you bitch about your grandma a lot? Or was that someone and a grandpa? Someone had a rich grandparent they were gonna yell at at the enxt family gathering.

I don't bitch about my grandma at all. She cooks me awesome food all the time, pays for my school, gives me gas money and lets me live here with her where I sleep till 2pm on the regular. I love my grandma .

I don't really have a gripe with any of my family except my uncle.

Edit: Ohhhhhhh your thinking of my rant about how much I hate my rich uncle because he lied to my grandma about my schooling. I'm still bitter about that.

Yeah I was really suprised at how much fun it was. I really want to try out the multiplayer mode, that shit looks awesome. Game comes out the 27th. Damn, so it's going to be Madden, then BioSock, and then Stranglehold the next 3 tuesdays. fuck yeah!

Build up a clientele base and rake up some extra spending money during the tax seasons.

Very cool. My Japanese teacher is a psycho; I almost dropped the class because of him, but I want to go into international work, so I can't abandon it.
What's the difference between HS Algebra I and II and College Algebra?

Damn, your grandma kicks ass.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. Dunno why I thought it was a grandparent.

I have a friend who is taking some ASL classes this semester but his mom is deaf so he knows quite a bit already. He plans on being an interpreter within a year or two and thus making a shit ton of money for using a skill that he has already mastered. I'm envious.

Yeah, been doing French for 5 years this year, but started HS in French II since middle school French was really repetitive and shit.

My Algebra II teacher said College Algebra (And the other semester is something else, I want to say Liberal Math but that isn't it, I forget) is basically the same shit we did last year, but no matter what you take in HS you have to take it in college. So if I knock that shit down next yeaR I won't have to pay for it when I go to college.

I'll probably go to a community college for a year or two out of High School. I don't really know, but it'd be better on the wallet and you get the same shit.

Edit: About ASL, my uncle is deaf (can hear with a hearing aid somewhat) and so is his wife (totally deaf) so I've always been interested in ASL, but he lives in Canada so I never learned any of it. But I always wanted to.

I really should take Spanish, knowing the employers and clientele (sp?) in Florida and pretty much all of the US soon, but oh well.

I can speak Arabic (only the Lebanese dialect though, and I can read like a 2 year old, but both of those are easy to fix with classes that I intend to take in college), which means I basically have an employment opportunity for life .

Damn, reading over my post, it's a shame that I can say I've been taking French for four years now, and I still really don't know shit. I mean, I guess I do, and I did some rough speech in Paris last summer, but if anyone tried to, like, converse with me in French, I don't know shit. Not much to say for four years.

Definitely take classes during the summer in HS, it looks good on your resume and it save you time/money (it's free down here, with a waiver from my school)/effort, but don't stay on there unless you absolutely have to.

I took 3 years of Spanish in HS followed by a year of it in college. I haven't taken a spanish course in a year and now I have to take another full year of it, which is going to be shitty. Whatever though, I'll just work my ass off.

That's awesome. A friend of mine who is Japanese (but doesn't know the language) is going on an exchange trip to Japan next year, I think, with a friend of hers. Sounds neat.

Also, I just remembered, one semester is College Algebra, the other is Liberal Arts Math.

I was considering summer classes after my junior year, but I dunno.

Oh look, I hit 10,800 posts. At least I'll get 11,000 before school starts. In fact, I have about a week of posting left before I slow down.

I took 2 semester of ASL here at my college, where it's a recognized foreign language (as in I could take that instead of Spanish). I hated learning Spanish in HS, so I was really glad to take the ASL courses becuase it's much more visual.

That being said, it was probably the toughest course I've taken here that wasn't a production course (aka where you get graded based on a live newsroom type shoot.)

And I'm off to bed. I have to write a paper tomorrow early as possible before I head out to a party.

Can anyone recommend me two pieces of art to compare?
Son of a bitch, another new OTT?? I only got one post in the last one. Y'all motherfuckers need to slow your roll.
Some troll started what could best be described as a flame war on himself which helped the other one along, though TFN likes to think it was because of his OTT making skills .

Is it subby who has almost 30,000?

I forgot to show Strells masterpiece to Ms. TFN. I'll put it as my desktop so when she attempts to use my computer she'll see it.

This show Going Tribal is pretty awesome. I don't think this is a new episode, but I don't think there is a bad episode in the series.

3AM is bed time for me tonight.

Wow eviltude, you really showed your true OTT elitist colors on that one.

Rocko! Don't say that in my tradelist, he actually PMed me asking 'please'.
WTF is the fridge lifting about?
Some things in life are best left unknown. This is one of them.

And TFN... yeah I missed you too.

Had to get back on to share this.

Watching a boxing match on ESPN2. One of the fighters went to prison for 7 years . He has like 21 wins and 17 KO's, so if you want to see someone get knocked the fuck out, now would be a nice time to watch.

That is all.
