Yes, but they looked pretty good in preseason, even though they weren't going to be winning too many games, neither were the Falcons. Don't expect to find either team getting far IMO.

lol NEVER EVER EVER take preseason as a measure of how a team will do in the regular season. The Patriots have been like what 0-16 the past 4 preseasons?
 
The Lions do have some good weapons on offense and did win 7 games last year. I don't blame anyone for picking them, especially when they were playing a Falcons team with a rookie quarterback and a sort-of "what if" running back.
 
Man, I had some mixed emotions on that last drive by the Panthers. Yeah, I want to see the pool get thinned out here, but I have the Chargers D in my fantasy league and I'm in a tight game this week. They did not help my cause on that end. :lol:

From looking at the picks for the rest of the games, at least three more people will be out since 2 picked Chicago versus 15 for Indy and 1 picked Green Bay versus 2 picks for Minnesota. The Denver/Oakland game is 6-0 for picks.
 
The pool will be opened for Week 2 picks sometime on Tueday. Picks have to be in by 8PM Saturday. Please don't post picks for week two until after I givge the ok on Tuesday. It makes it easier for me to track from week to week.

About 15, I believe. They just scored again to go up by 8, so they have a good shot at beating the Colts if they can hold on.

Thats good news for me. And that might also help me with my pick for next week, assuming the Colts lose. I doubt they lose back to back games, but I'll have to see how Minnesota plays before I even think about picking the Colts next week, assuming the score holds up and the Bears win.

I still maintain Grossman lost us that Superbowl....of course, Orton wasn't ready for the role then but still. There's the big week 1 upset I've been waiting for. Oh, and Carolina is a close 2nd. Glad I changed that pick. :)
