The Admiral's 2008 Fifth Annual NFL Pooltravaganza! TehMuff1nM4n is the Winne!
2 out of 3 of these teams will lose.

Saints
Redskins
Vikings

I don't think it's going to be the Saints though.
5 bucks says all 3 win this week.

Seriously. What do you say?
Are you implying the Browns are favored to win? I'd be happier than anyone if my Brownies took down the Giants, but I don't see this happening unless the entire NY starting lineup dies in a bus crash on the way to Cleveland.
The Super Bowl Champs drop into the stadium via helicopter, doncha know?

Funny, those are the three teams I've been considering this week. And I actually had the Saints as the most likely to lose. Mostly because they've put up so much offense but been so inconsistent it's hard to know what to expect.

Rams blowing up? Watching what I have, I'd see maybe one big surprise week but probably at home since they have field advantage with the turf/dome. I only see them taking it if the Redskins are so hyped up on beating two division foes that they overlook the Rams or don't take them seriously. Which could happen, and that's a matter of how well they are coached.

Vikings? Should beat the awful Lions, but Detroit tends to play divisional games well. Favre used to hate playing in the Metrodome cause they played so well against them there. But the Vikings haven't taken off like everyone thought they would. They do play this game at home but could fall to that Monday night hangover

The Saints just lost a game to the Vikings where they contained Adrian Peterson. They beat themselves. That's the worry.

I can't tell if you really believe this, or if you're just trying to psyche somebody out of going with one of these sure things. OK, I'll give you the Saints. Oakland isn't quite as terrible as Detroit and St. Louis, and the Saints have no defense, so that one is ....possible.

By the way, I'll go with the Minnesota Vikings for Week 6, please.

During my many many many years of NFL Betting there is no such thing as a "Sure thing".

Maybe my prediction of both Minnesota and Redskins losing was of. I could almost guarantee that one of those teams will lose. Saints will win their game easily. Both the Viks and Skins will go into Sunday's games and underestimate their opponents.

Lol that made my day. Dies in bus crash lol

week 1: New England Patriots
week 2: NY Giants
week 3: Buffalo Bills
week 4: San Diego Chargers
week 5: Dallas Cowboys
week 6: Washington Redskins

Really, it's not the matchups that are worrisome as much as feeling one of those 0 Win teams are due. Redskins could overlook them, or the Vikings could have Monday night hangover. Either one seems like a good pick. I'm not even that high on the Saints but they have a favorable matchup against the Raiders.

Week 1: Arizona Cardinals
Week 2: New York Giants
Week 3: Buffalo Bills
Week 4: Carolina Panthers
Week 5: Dallas Cowboys
Week 6: Washington Redskins

Was thinking of using Minnesota also like most but they gave up too many points on Monday Night and I think that game will be a close shootout. NY Jets were also an idea but being from NY I hate taking local teams until I have too or unless its a lock. With still having my bye I hope I don't regret not using it this week.

Week 1: New England Patriots
Week 2: Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 3: New York Giants
Week 4: Buffalo Bills
Week 5: Dallas Cowboys
Week 6: Philadelphia Eagles

Going with my home team this week. I know they can pull it off.

I dunno about the Eagles. With out Westbrook they never fair too well ( 3 - 7 without him ). And their Pass Defense that has been put to shame the past couple of weeks scares me. But I think Philly really needs to win to stay in the NFC East Race. I expcet them to win but I wouldn't pick them. Too risky.

Week 6 Selection:
Washington Redskins

Previous Picks:
W1: New England Patriots
W2: New York Giants
W3: Denver Broncos
W4: Buffalo Bills
W5: Carolina Panthers

Week 1 - New York Jets
Week 2 - Green Bay Packers
Week 3 - Seattle Seahawks
Week 4 - Buffalo Bills
Week 5 - Indianapolis Colts
Week 6 - New York Giants

I swear to God, Cleveland. If you actually pull one out of your ass, I'll be very disappointed.

The Bengals almost had the Giants a couple weeks ago.. and we beat the Bengals like a week after that. The transitive property would therefore suggest that the Browns will beat the Giants on Monday. ;)

For Week 6, I'm going with the Washington Redskins. I'm a little bit leery of Haslett, who can be a trickster, but his team really, really sucks.

I almost went with the Saints (they won't have a consecutive weird game like the last one), but then I saw their injury list & changed my mind. Yeesh!

We have yet to see Haslett's Team so how can they suck? They first 4 games it was Lienhan's (SP?) Team

He means that the team itself, the team he has inherited (or just been stuck with) sucks. Unless Haslett plans on going there and playing offensive line, the Rams still have a lot of issues. At the very least, he put Bulger back in there, though that might not be that great for Bulger.

Week 1. BYE
Week 2. Tampa Bay
Week 3. Denver
Week 4. Jacksonville
Week 5. Dallas

NEW PICK:
Week 6. NEW YORK - Jets

Gonna be some upsets this week. So many teams are due for a win. Leaves me with a hard decision to make.

I'll take Carolina, I like the way they're playing.

Week 4 Jags
Week 5 Cowboys
Week 6 Packers

Palmer is still listed as questionable, but he isn't starting, so the Bengals will be going with the pride of Harvard, Ryan Fitzpatrick. That Jet pick is looking better every minute...which means they will now lose...

That was one of the greatest plays of the whole game!! St Louis taps the ball, Redskins recover, St Louios forces fumble and scores touchdown all on same play!!

Lets go St Louis.

Wow, Detroit is beating Minesota at the half by the score of 3-2

That has to be some sort of record, lowest points scored in a half where both teams scored lol

3 fumbles by Washington in the first half. They better get chewed out in the locker room. They could still take the game back if they just hold the damn ball.
