If you are a CAG and in a band, post your stuff here so all of CAG can listen to your music and lend support. This could be like "Support your local CAG band" scene.

Here is my band, The Vicious Martinis site:

http://www.theviciousmartinis.com

Looking forward to listening to the bands of CAG!

Who's the one from Quitter? I find it awesome that I actually knew about the band before I even posted here. (my friend Ben from Sacramento got me into them) Well, I will check out all of the bands posted here. I am in the midst of starting a band and will post a link should we ever record.

I only have three songs, and I really don't feel like sharing them unless I am showered with compliments.

You're a girl on the internet, of course people are going to give you compliments.
Probably won't be music, as I'm tone deaf.
QFT

Keep that in mind in case you ever pick up an instrument.

Cool thread... I'll have to listen when I get the chance. I don't have a band but I can play "Wanted Dead or Alive" on the guitar from start to finish and that's all I'll ever need - chicks love that shit.

BattleScars 4eva!

I have three tracks, but one of them is... ermm... "echo-ey", hehe. So I upped two of them, for my millions of (imaginary) fans, and the 1 or 2 people who care to listen. They're pretty rough, just me, and a piano. One day, I will get a band together, but ha, I'm too lazy.

Oh, here's the link for two tracks from me under the name "Red Lined Lullabye". >LINK
I know radjago has a band. murmur, I think. I'm sure he'll post here.

I'll beat him to pimping his own band.

Thanks, guys. I didn't know I had so much support around here.

Most of the music and pictures on our site and myspace are pretty old stuff. Like two drummers ago old (we're on our 5th so far). If you want the latest and greatest, check out our podcast, where we post songs and videos from live shows and practices.

We've been trying to get an album recorded for like the last two years, but we keep having setbacks like drummers quitting or spontaneously combusting, or basements flooding and taking down our equipment, but I swear we'll get it done this year.

Oh, and as an added bonus, here's a link to my last band's site. You can listen to our album in the flash player embedded in the header at the top. It's much different from my current band. Back in the day, we rocked hard, but now my bones aren't up to it.

And if you're in town, we're playing the Oregon Express on Friday, February 2nd.

Watched the video podcast, very cool. The song reminded me of Weezer. Good stuff.

I'm pretty sure I've already pimped my band 'round these parts, but here it is again anyway.

http://www.myspace.com/killingcalypso

I have no idea when the site was last updated since I have zero control over it. I'm sure it's pretty out of date, considering we have a new drummer, new bassist, and our old bassist switched to guitar.

We actually just got back together and started practicing again a few weeks ago. Previous to that, our last show was... almost a year ago? Our vocalist went to college in Texas and that obviously cut down our rehearsals.

He's back now for good, so we started it up again. We actually wrote a pretty good song last Saturday. It's a bit tougher than our usual stuff, and definitely a lot more varied. And it's metal as crap.

Anyway, check out our two-year-old, terrible quality demo songs (minus me!) and see if anything happens over the next month or two.

That's cool that you're friends with Set Your Goals. My friend loves them. Plus, his friend used to be roommates with the singer.

You're my Cheap Ass Idol so far. Battlescars was kinda interesting. Massively rough around the edges, as you warned, but it has a little something to it. For some reason it reminded me somewhat of "Submarine Bells" by The Chills. Damn, that was a bent and twisted lifetime ago.

Thank you so much! :D

It's the best I can do by myself in my spare time (which isn't much), one of these days I'm gonna get some help, put a polish on what I have and hit an open mic night or something. Of course judging by how long it took me to get to where I am now, it'll be a few more years before I get something solid done. I'm a lazy perfectionist, which is a very, very bad combination when it comes to my productivity. ;)

Casio keyboards FTW.

bringing this thread back to life. My band has a new single, anyone interested I can post the mp3 and folks can download it.

Weird to see all of the DJ K8E posts...

what a headcase.

Self pimping -- playing in the Bay Area on Sunday if anyone is interested. We're fairly nerdy in theme. We play twice a year at Nickle City in San Jo, which is freaking awesome. Played a little while back with the Advantage Band. Best Nintendo band ever. So tight.

Here's us, tho :)

would be interested to hear any CAG's new projects for sure... post --> i listen!
I don't have a band but my friend from work and High School Does. Here is some of there music from MySpace. Post what you think.

The song "Sixty" is pretty bangin. Give it a quick listen ;)
Tell your friend he does his genre well - and I am exceptionally-critical with music.

If anyone has a band with a grunge vibe (see: Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains), please post it. I'm always up for new music I may like. ;):D

Check my band out, kind of that feel, more rock though. Be interested in hearing what you think.
