The problem with that was, Oklahoma was severely overrated that year. So is Florida this year. You don't really know which team is going to show up. Is it going to be the team that beat LSU 23-10, or is it going to be the team that barely won against South Carolina (at home), or barely beat a Georgia team that had five turnovers, a frosh QB and WRs that couldn't catch a cold?

Florida played a tough schedule, and won. If we had a playoff, they wouldn't make it to the title game. They played only one decent out of conference opponent, and that was Southern Miss. Don't say I didn't warn you.
 
We would have the same problem if every conference had an undefeated team. Can you imagine the turmoil then. The BCS just sucks.

Just imagine if Rutgers went undefeated. Will they get the respect or sit out like Boise State. Hell, why not give Boise State the shot. If they beat Oklahoma, it would make you wonder.

I really did not want to see a rematch, but I do think it would have been an awesome game. Florida has not looked that great, but they won their games. Hell, Carolina only lost by a friggin blocked field goal to them. :razz:
