I'm moving into college at the end of the week and am taking my Wii along with me. I've been trying to get TBRB for 360 (which my parents are keeping -- I don't have an HDTV!) for my dad but I can't justify spending $250. I tried release day shipping and gift wrapping on amazon and it came to $265ish. I know there's a 10% off with ECA membership, and I'm more than happy to spend $15 to get $25 off, but are there any better deals out there? I also know that Dell has a 15% off coupon which brings the total to $212 but the ship date for that is January 2010, I read somewhere that somebody called in to ask about it and they confirmed a ship date of "about 90 days after the release date."

Anything you can point me to would be super greatly appreciated!

You could buy a 50% off coupon code to amazon from someone on this site. That seems like the popular thing to do for people that want to buy the Beatles Special Edition bundle.

$50 will get you a code, so you'd end up getting about $75 off the price. You'd end up spending probably $175 instead of $250, pretty good deal if that's what you want.

If you need help finding people who have them let me know.

I would definitely not mind paying $50 for a code if I get an overall cut of $75 off the price. I searched the forums and I found one person selling for $50: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=179969 .

Just wondering, is 9 considered a good trading score? Also, what's the safest way to buy this coupon code. Any advice? Or do you know anyone who has a really high trading score and is selling? Thank you for your reply!

I would feel safe buying with him. I'm not sure where the other sellers went I can't find their threads. I've seen times where guys got beat for their things, but it rarely ever happens. I believe he's sold a couple codes already, so I would feel safe buying with him and I don't think he'd have any reason to want to beat you. If he hasn't sold one before, I'd be leery, but since he has and does have feedback, I'd feel safe with it.

I'd say the safest way is paypal and it's probably the only way I'd pay. The only reason is because I've never paid another way and I've never been beat paying like that.

If you pay him with paypal I think he'll just send you a unique code right away that you can use, so you'll know right away if it works and know if there's any problems. I would trust him and most CAGs.

Good luck
