The Blago Trial

Personally. If he is found guilty I hope he makes a martyr of himself and brings down some more with him. We all know he can. There is no way a guy who is supposedly corrupt does not know more that are corrupt. I am in no way supporting his actions but he might as well and try to pull for some public appeal.

There are no corrupt politicians in Chicago. It's all just right-wing media blowing it all out of proportion...

Not so much in Chicago, but you can't deny the possibility of it across the nation. He is not only limited to Chicago, especially with the work he was doing I am sure he outsourced quite a bit with his deeds.

And Blago doesn't even need to directly say it. He could very well just allude to the idea of corruption in other states and that will cause quite the riot.

Boo fucking hoo. And yet you still live in a state that's rotten from top to bottom...

Naw, our local politicians are pretty cool. Granted, I'm not sure how one would get anything out of being the corrupt mayor or chief of police in Carmi... ;)

Maybe in Carmi, but you only have to look two hours to the west to find the awesome municipality of East St. Louis...

Again, the state is rotten from top to bottom. I couldn't wait to get out.
