Is there any way you could keep the rest of the buttons in the same place or do they break the layout on lower res? I've hit the menu at least five times already trying to go for my User CP.

You and me both...but, yes, it will break the layout on lower res.
I can only have 7 buttons in 800x600 res.
I'm sure we'll get used to it.
 
Any one have some ideas for organizing the main page of the CAGwiki?
It's getting really crowded (and tall)!

Collapsible menus?

+ / - squares you click... you know... the thingies.
 
Maybe that or some higher-level categorization, to lighten the load on the front page. Though looking at it, we already have the categories.

Maybe taking all the links off (or any of minor importance), leaving only the category links and maybe a couple others. Add a description to each heading so people know what to find in each category.

Though the category pages themselves are kinda ugly to navigate. Not sure if the wiki standard allows for creating a Community page, for example, that is basically like a rip of the whole Community section currently on the front page.

It's possible to have text at the top of a category page; you just edit it like you would a normal page. See Category:Community, Category:Guides, and Category:Xbox. The Xbox category introduction is a bit too long though; we should probably split some of that off into an Xbox article.
 
Hey sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area..but I think this works here.
I traded in Soul Calibur 2 yesterday for Gamecube and I was given $5.00 for it.
It was a Player's Choice one too.. not sure if that makes a difference, but yeah. Just trying to contribute a bit :)

I was surprised, since the PS2 and Xbox version are $1.50.

So.. someone add it?

It would help if you told us what the store was where you traded it. It would be better if you posted it in the trade-in thread for that store in the deals forum.
 
Do you know a good place to get that information?

Maybe we could put up a page for ebay and link to it, but I'm not sure it would be worth it to keep an updated list of ebay prices for games unless it was automated somehow. It might be outside the scope of the wiki and something better left for the main site.

I can manually get the average selling price for most games out there.

The keyword being manually.

It takes about a minute per game.

I've been looking for a program that could do it for me, but no success.

I'd even pay somebody to build a program.

I know there are programs/sites that can compile that information. Pricegrabber has it for some games, but not all of them. I'm pretty sure ebay assistant sites like Andale have something like that, but they usually charge for it.

If you have any suggestions, we'd love to see them. Or, if you'd like to become an editor and add some entries, that would be great too. Otherwise, keep an eye on it; we'll try to keep adding more to it.

On CAG Wiki I am trying to start an article on BrandsMart USA under the store section but I cant seem to get a link going for it under the 'B' category of stores... how do I do the linking thing on this? Thanks...

Added 360 General Information article on there (same as the thread located in the 360 forum) but it has some formatting issues. Feel free to fix/correct any problems.
