The Costco Topic
Thanks Sonderiaom. My Costco looked up those items but didn't find them in the computer. However, they did find an entry for a DS Lite. They said it was $165 but didn't have any information about what was included.
If they had it in their computer, it means that they'll get it within the month usually; might want to ask them next time when they'll receive their next shipment. Were they surprised you had the numbers?

I went to a Costco in Atlanta yesterday, but they didn't have any DS Lites, or any indication that they had them before I got there. There were, however, some copies of New Super Mario for $29.99.
The last time I visited their website, they had a tab in the nav bar for caskets. That struck me as quite odd.

edit: and they still do. Seriously. Who buys funeral stuff at a chain store?
You know there was a big write up on this and it went through Sams Club pretty wildly also (My wife is an assistant at Sams Club)

But in December of 2004 when my Grandfather 62 passed away after being diagnosed with Lung Cancer (meaning they didnt plan for this). Thats where my Grandmother bought his casket. It was a very nice casket and it was close to $1500-$3000 less at various other places.

Most of the people I mention the numbers to just assume I got them off the website.

There are still no DS Lites at any of the Costcos in the Salt Lake City area. Has anyone else seen any?

Just got a postcard from Costco saying that they are going to increase annual membership fee by $5 starting July 06.

my 2 nearest Costcos in southern San Diego have a gob of them in stock (probably 40-50 bundles each!).

the bundles include the DSL, New Super Mario Bros., and an accessory pack: a "game case", 1 glow in the dark stylus, screen protectors, and some junky ear buds.

$164.99 -- which seemed like an okay deal, until the whole "free Brain Age and Mario bundle" thing broke on Saturday night. now it's more like, okay if you can't find one anywhere else.

Really? I hadn't heard anything about that. We'd just increased the two lower memberships by $5 a month and a half ago so I doubt this unless I get a scan or something.

Thanks. Good to know that it is hopefully on the way.

Hey, I've been hearing on other forums that some of Costco stores limited the warranties for TV's to 6 month only. Is this common? Also, how are my purchases counted if different stores have different return policies when I purchase stuff from Costco.com?

One last thing, anyone know why costco.com will get dsl in?

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

Just wanted to say that Costco is the greatest store ever. I'm buying my 360 there because I save a shitload of money. No need to buy a warranty EVER again :)
