What up Cheap Ass Gamers!

I found CheapyD because his "Xbox 360 Towel Trick vs. CheapyD" video shows up in the sidebar next to my video:

That video is almost a year old. My Xbox is fixed now (actually, I had another one die before getting the one I have now.)

These forums seem to be the bee's knees. I just saw that "get Carcassonne for free" thread. I'm SO going to rock that. I've been played the board game for a long time now.

Anyhow, peace out. I'll be hanging around these here forums.
 
Hi and welcome to CAG, Sadly topics like these are frowned upon by many people here. I'm not one of them, But I can gurantee you that you are going to get people in here saying "WOW! What a great thread!" And they won't mean it in a good way.

There are lots of jerks on CAG. Believe it.

I've been rocking forums of many kinds for a while now so I know exactly the kind of people you're talking about. I don't mind them because:
  • I'm smarter than they are.
  • I could beat them in a fight.
  • I have more women than they do.
  • And I've gotten all the achievements on Geometry wars.
;)

Actually, I thought a post like this would test the waters so I can pick up on what kind of vibe this place has.

There are some good people on here (Like me) But there are many jerks on here too, I learned that by playing a match of Gears with some CAGs.

Edit: Oh wait, I watched your video before! Yes, I liked it! The parts in gears like when you saw the dead bodies hanging from the ceiling were funny :lol:

Normally I would have locked this just by looking at the title but after reading the OP, Welcome to CAG and hope you have fun here. Though I do recommend that you modify the title, maybe add: "The Death of my XBOX360 Guided Me to CAG" or something like that...

Of course, they might have fixed it since then, as they ought if they want to stop losing money.

Basically, it's not a matter of whether or not you get a "bad egg", it's not even just some unnaturally high percentage of "lemons", EVERY 360 is just as likely as the next to die, because the cause of the problem is present on every 360 in existance (at least before they might have fixed the design problem).

I think it's a terrible design flaw combined with manufacturing "error." As I'm sure you know, there is a legit amount of error that a product can have before it's "faulty." Something like if the 360's flux capacitor is 4 microns to the left, you're all good. No problems. 7 microns and RRoD.
