As far as the spoiler two posts up, makes me wonder if the WWE had no interest in re-signing him. Kinda suprising since TNA has been talking about making cuts.
If you were WWE, what benefit is there to re-signing him? Older guy with very little credibility and in-ring time left. Plus, the man has obviously not given a shit for a while now.

I'm curious to see if he's back full-time, or this was just a one-off house show thing. Given the talk of cuts, this would be one hell of a weird time to hire... especially a guy who probably isn't into any kind of pay cut.

I still don't see how Booker could have possibly given a shit in his last few months in TNA. He spent the majority of his TV time playing putt putt in backstage segments.

As for cuts...

Tomko - Don't think he should have been hired back in that shape in the first place - probably better off in Japan.
Amazing Red - no reason for him to be there, plus I'm tired of his zero impact offense.
Rhino - not being used
Kiyoshi - not really used since Daivari's release
Brutus Magnus - hasn't been on TV in a few months.
Raven - hasn't done much of anything since he was rehired
Stevie - hate to see him go, but the Abyss storyline ran its course and there's really nowhere for him to go from there.

I think all the Knockouts are safe for the time being - especially with WWE hurting for women who can wrestle at the moment.

Scott Hall Arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting an Officer
By Marc Middleton
May 22, 2010 - 3:30:28 AM

- One-half of the TNA Tag Team Champions Scott Hall was arrested in Chuluota, Florida on May 14th for disorderly conduct and resisting a police officer, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Police were called to the Hitching Post Bar and found Hall cursing at the bartender and customers. Police informed Hall that he was being arrested and went to handcuff him. "Scott refused this directive," reads the police report, "and instead, thrust out his chest, walking closer to me, stating, 'I ain't going down for this [expletive deleted].'"

Hall was soon cuffed and placed in a squad car. The bartender claimed Hall was drinking heavily and arguing with customers. The bartender arranged a ride home for Hall but Hall is accused of punching out the window in the car. Hall is also being accused of pushing two women in the parking lot.

Look - I get tired of "common themes" in life.

I can understand if you had a bad day, or a crap month, or even at the stretch of my imagination a shitty year...

But it's been what? A decade? And dude still has this problem? That's just reckless at best and pitiful at worst. How have you still not learned your lesson that bars are not your friend? Shoot, in fact, you can go to the bar...but you can't ask for alcohol and you can't accept it. You just can't! Your body does not allow it. It's screwed you out of money, fame, health, friendships, respect...

If I were Scott Hall's friend, I'd punch him in the throat for this bullshit. Take your dumbass to a rehab facility and don't leave until you're completely sober

Haha, wow. I feel stupid. I started watching wrestling around '96, so I never saw Papa Shango at all, only brief clips of him in matches from time to time. I was reading the Alumni section on WWE.com .. I had no idea that the Godfather (Charles Wright) was Papa Shango. Mind = Blown

Why would you rehire Booker T if you're WWE? Maybe because WWE is shit right now? We get the same feuds every single month. Now since they've ran out of people, they just throw the belt on random guys like Swagger and Shamus.
Quinton Jackson is going to be one of the guest hosts for Raw on 6/7 - it'll be surreal to see a modern-day UFC fighter involved in one of the biggest fights in history just one week before this on WWE's flagship show.
interesting.. that raw is here in miami.. may go.. who knows..

ok, so, the guy walked out on WWE cause he was unhappy, then was openly going through the motions in TNA cause he felt he deserved more. whats to say he comes in, sees that WWE is at least attempting some new stars, gets pissed and walks again. booker isnt the same guy he was in 2005 anymore, he is over 40 and getting rehired at this point would be rather pointless on WWEs part

edit: ok, so i dont know if he actually walked out on WWE, but i remember he was all pissed about them not letting him sit in on creative meetings or something

If Booker comes in with an attitude of wanting to do some good work then he could provide some much-needed punch to what has become a very stale product. He may not be in his prime at this point but he can still go AFAIC.

I thought Booker leaving had something to do with WWE pulling out on using his promotion/school as a developmental after being led to believe they would.
Wasn't there some sort of business with him having a Wellness Policy violation around the time he left?
From Wikipedia.

"In August, he was linked to Signature Pharmacy, a company thought to be distributing performance enhancing drugs. He was then suspended by WWE for violating its Wellness Policy. He denied using any drugs and being a customer of Signature Pharmacy. In October 2007, Booker T requested his and Sharmell's release from their WWE contracts, which the WWE granted."

Just got back from an out of town trip. Much thanks to you guys for keeping me up to speed on things since I got back. On a few things that were being discussed:

- Carlito got released? Fine. He was doing nothing but floundering in the lower-mid card for ages now. His only real shining moment recently was his Unified Tag Title run, and even that wasn't great thanks to the conition of the tag division at the moment. I'm guessing Primo isn't far behind.

- I wish any mainstream wrestling fed would finally just wash their hands of Scott Hall. I mean I loved the guy as a kid, but he simply refuses to clean up his act, is a notorious no-show, and isn't even a huge draw.

Anyways, is there a PPV tonight?

So.....
Abraham Washington
is rumored to be the new RAW general manager. Really? REALLY? Good god... a broom can be a better GM than
Abraham Washington.

Welp, who's going to have their TVs on tonight for this PPV?

Anyone > Anything > Vickie Guerrero

The thread was made pre-maturely obviously!
Over the Limit is tonight. I wonder how much, if any, the Lost finale will affect the number of buys.
The Lost finale will pull in crazy numbers. Over the Limit will go on to do one of the worst buys in WWE PPV history.

I actually like the idea of Abe being the new GM of RAW. Everyone gives him a bad rep because they didn't like him in ECW, but he didn't really do anything in ECW. The man can talk, look for some of his FCW work.
Welp, who's going to have their TVs on tonight for this PPV?
I could actually go but I work too early in the morning to see it live. Some of the tickets for it are actually less than the cost for the event on TV.

When they are having trouble selling tickets by the day of the show they discount the hell out of them to try and fill up the arena. Over the Limit is just not a very interesting PPV card and none of the build-up has been all that interesting. The best thing on WWE TV right now is the Bryan Danielson stuff with Michael Cole and Danielson has no match, I would be surprised if they even do anything with this angle outside of NXT.

People still would've bitched about it. If not because of him, then because I was the one that made it.

To her credit, Vickie draws the most heat in the entire company. Even WWE's top heels (i.e., Batista, Edge, etc.) wish they could draw heat that easily.

Excuse me?

(AP) — HARTFORD, Conn. - Connecticut Republicans have endorsed former World Wrestling Entertainment executive Linda McMahon for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Democrat Chris Dodd.

McMahon says she's going to "lay the smackdown" on Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal in November. Blumanthal received the Democratic party's endorsement for the Senate seat earlier Friday.

McMahon beat out former U.S. Rep. Rob Simmons and Fairfield County money manager Peter Schiff for the Republican nomination.

Vickie garners so much heat because she isn't attractive and she plays an incredibly annoying character. I really just can't stand to see her on my TV at any given time.

Not saying Vickie has no place in the WWE because I believe she does as Chavo's manager. Chavo is a great talent that has been poorly used and I think they only keep him around because his last name is Guerrero. Chavo isn't the youngest guy on the roster, but he isn't banged up and can still work solid matches.

The tickets started at $25.
Yeah they are nosebleed.
Nosebleed is never worth it. You're better off watching it on TV at that point.

So, how is WWE going to swerve the shit out of everyone by not releasing Batista, tonight?

Edit: I predict that Batista loses, and McMahonnaise makes his long awaited return ( ) and reinstates Batista.
Buy cheap seats and move to better seats. Doesn't everyone else do this?
You have to time it just right though

I remember when I went earlier this year there were people who tried to claim seats only to be ushered out 10 mins later for stealing seats

my lamp has been flickering for the past few minutes...and I don't wanna pay the 7 dollars for it to shine consistantly tonight....

*Just to note, just like last PPV....you might wanna leave if you don't wanna know whats going on. Don't cry! (Looks at some)

I'm in my gym and started doing a set of arm curls, and Kingston-McIntyre is already over. Quality match, I'm sure. Mmmhmm.

Kofi is the new black hype? I like it...but it's not like hasn't had a title before...

Now, if he was feuding with Swagger for that belt I'd be excited
