They both suck? I heard only the first one did, hence my wishing to only play the second and hence my asking if I could do so and still understand the story.
My EB had a Zelda/MQ disc for 25, is it worth it?
I would. I truly enjoy both of those and had a hell of a time trying to find just that one and not the CE. Both are good. I got it before I found a CE.

Last night's episode of GitS: SAC was awesome. Truly loved it as well as the particular episode of Cowboy Bebop that they showed. That's probably one of my favorite, if not my favorite, episode of Cowboy Bebop. No, nevermind, it's in the top ten of episodes. I think I liked the episode called Cowboy Funk slightly more.

FMA wasn't too bad either, but it kind of felt like a breather episode to all of the drama and action that has been taking place in the FMA universe. Not bad, but a little boring at parts IMO. Can't wait till the later episodes. Saw them on my computer and I believe it is episode 25 that is just incredible with Scar

I'm pretty sure that it goes directly into the second one so, yaeh, you probably will need that one.

No, I bought one on EB for 5 bucks and I can't make a profit off it.
The quality reminds me of when my family first got a computer with a cd-rom drive, and i was amazed at the 1 by 1 mpeg viedeos that were on the activities disk....yet i still own a Fairly Odd Parents and a Jimmy Neutron. They're fun to leave going while im doing actual work on my laptop..

also, if anyone in her has not read hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, ESPECIALLY if you enjoy British comedy, you owe it to yourself to read (or listen!) to it. So god damn funny...
Yes, it is MOSTLY HARMLESS, and you may learn a few lessons to apply to LIFE, THE UNIVERSE, AND EVERYTHING. It's a good way to kill time, even if you feel like your sitting all alone at THE RESTAURANT AT THE END OF THE UNIVERSE, waiting for the SALMON OF DOUBT to be prepared.
Well, SO LONG, AND THANKS FOR THE FISH.

*SPOILERS, LOOK AWAY* when he goes on his murderous rampage through an alchemist camp

*END OF SPOILERS*
If you're talking about what was in my sig awhile ago, then that wasn't an alchemist camp at all. I don't even remember him going on murderous alchemist killing sprees after the parts that have already happened. The only time I remember him in a camp (and it's been awhile since I've seen that part of the series) was when he's in the camp with other Ishballans, and the motorcycle gang comes in to take out the Ishballans, and Scar absolutely rapes them.

You know, scar is not that badass. And I've come to the conclusion that the characters are kinda stupid...

(Not that they're stupid characters. Just that they lack an obvious sort of intelligence.)
You know, scar is not that badass. And I've come to the conclusion that the characters are kinda stupid...
Blasphemy! You haven't seen Scar at his best. The fight against the Homonculi next week is pretty damn good, and the stuff that happens towards the end of the series with Scar is just beyond awesome. Scar is fucking badass. Wait till you see Scar vs....I'm not gonna write anymore since it's a HUGE spoiler for later in the anime.

I've seen through episode 35 and I've come to the conclusion that the show falls apart somewhere around there.

Up to there, it was great. But it seems to me that the manga creator or writer ran out of cool ideas.

That's not a fair representation. To put it another way, he had too many good ideas, and made the characters so uber powerful that the only way the story can keep going is through (A) innane plot contrivances or (B) the sheer stupidity of the characters.

That's nowhere near enough to see the ultimate Scar is a badass moment. You have to see the one hour episode to truly reach it. You haven't even gotten to what happens in the Eastern country towards the end of the show. You can't really say anything about the show till they change what Al says during the opening. So you fail here. Though I will say, the show pales in comparison to some of the badass fight scenes in the manga. Roy vs Lust was so fucking awesome. Trust me, though you may have seen one of the best arcs in the show (The 5th Laboratory), you haven't reached the end of the greatness. Finally, you really can't say anything till you see the crack episode with Tomato + Potato = POMATO!!

EDIT: Plus, you do know that the anime splits from the manga after a certain point in the show. The show's creators reached the part where they were caught up to the manga, and instead of waiting till they could get more from the manga creator, they just started making up their own story. That's why the anime pales compared to the manga.

As in what site did I find it from? If that's what you mean, then www.fullmetal-alchemist.com
And where exactly does the anime split from the manga?
Well, there's some splits early on, dealing with timing throughout the series. However, the major split happens during a certain event in episode 25, including how that event plays out in the manga. Basically, from then on out things just are completely different.
That explains it then. The show does begin to fall apart and it really becomes apparent around episode 30.
I know where you're talking about, and it does have a slight slump during anything involving Wrath, as he's an angsty little bitch, but it defintiely picks back up when you're reintroduced to Scar and his plan involving the city of Lior. From about 36 onward, the series picks back up to the awesomeness of the first 25 episodes. The shit with Lujon was horrible, as was the couple episodes solely dealing with Wrath. However, that arc does have Greed, which makes up for part of it, and then it also has some of the most important information in the series, dealing with the Sins. That moment involves one of the biggest HOLY SHIT moments in the series for me.

I think Jimmie was just feeling emo and had to take his anger out on somebody via message board. Better than the blog, IMO.
