Have they said anything about an online mode? I know they're doing those stupid DLC expansions.

There is no competitor in the satellite radio market which is true and which is one of the reasons why I don't support the merger (I'm a subscriber to XM). They would be a monopoly if it goes through.

They would be a monopoly if it goes through.[/quote]They're a monopoly like cable TV is a monopoly. There's other choices out there, though in the local market, usually only one cable provider.

There's two choices for satellite radio out there, though both of them are in the red. Merging them together gets them both to share infrastructure and resources, which will get them into the black.

It'll bring in the options XM has that Sirius doesn't, and we'll get the best of both worlds.

I never really saw the appeal of satellite radio. Maybe I just don't know enough about it, but it seems so limited.
 
Played a bit of No More Heroes last night- up to the first save points.

Really fucking fun. Can't wait to play some more.

I can listen to what I want, when I want, regardless of where I am. It was a godsend when I was driving around for a week in 2006, same stations through multiple states.

Plus, the no censorying has me spoiled to regular radio.

Sirius is pretty awesome when you only have 1 shitty modern rock station and 2 "OK" classic rock stations. I like that it's less Steppenwolf, more Beatles on the classic rock front and they play a lot of Radiohead(from The Bends to In Rainbows) on the 90s/alternative stations which makes me happy.

I was impressed by the reception too. I drove 500+ miles from the border to central Mexico over the holidays through mountain ranges which are supposed to be killer and I didn't loose my signal once the whole trip.
 
My laser mouse is starting to go to hell, I think. It doesn't skip around the screen, but the cursor seems to just stop moving sometmes even though I'm moving the mouse.

I'm for the merger because it puts baseball games and football games together on the same satellite carrier.

I love my Sirius as it's the most reliable source I have (no great local station) for new alt rock.

That's odd, as it should be officially supported there and anywhere outside of the (continental?) US is definitely not.
 
Sirius is awesome if you use it through your an aux input in your car stereo. Using it through the radio signal is awful.

How does one censor bach or mozart? Surely chopin and beethoven weren't dropping F-bombs or anything else the FCC wouldn't approve of.

How long would it take for a Gamefly game to get out to Austin from California, munch? I just read that there is definitely going to be an Austin distribution center in the near future but it's not done yet.

achievements you catch from other players. I think its lame buzzword, but its shorter than saying "Achievements earned by playing against someone who already has earned that particular achievement"

I'm thinking about stroking out during the days prior to DMC4 and the days afterwards. I'm not really in the mood to hear kids bicker what version is better nor have to deal with complaints about the easy factor.

Just a couple of days. I just had a new mailer shipped to me on Friday, or maybe Thursday, and with the MLK holidy it came on Tuesday. That's not too bad.

And to go green as a referral you must you must complete one offer and have 2 people sign up under you and have each complete 2 offers.

Are you going to try both, Frisky? I'm thinking I might still, but only if I absolutely HATE the way the 360 controller feels for it -- if I can get DMC4 for chhhheeeeeeap on the 360, I'll put my BB GC towards MGS4 or Rockband or something not so easily attainable. :)
