I don't know anything about this franchise for I always thought it looked a bit dated and I was to busy in the marvel universe, but I had no idea It was funny.
For you guys who do enjoy it, whats the deal? Its comedic? Or are they re-doing it funny?
I cant imagine Rogen as a hero type, but what do fans think of the casting choice?
 
Seth had talked about this when he was on Howard Stern pimping Pineapple Express. Said he was busting his ass to get in enough shape to do that movie.

OK this is from memory so we are test my nerdodicty.

The Green Hornet was never a "funny character". He is actually the grandson of the Lone Ranger and was continuing in his in his legacy as a masked crimefighter. His sidekick was Kato who also drove probably the only limo used as a supercar, The Black Beauty. Aslo GH never used a real gun, he uses a gas gun filled with knockout gas. The Green Hornet sting. He is basically a batman clone, but with a few subtle differences.

you're dead on though he didn't use the gun that much, he was more of a brawler
