Ugh I don't think anyone is gonna give a shit about that game.
At least said company could've been smart and sold it for $19.99. In my opinion they're overreaching cosumerwise if they think ANYONE is gonna buy it for the most part, just like N-Gage. I MIGHT pick it up to oogle the chicks for $10 or less, preferably 5 but that's about it.

GOD that sickens me. Not the oogling rather I just expect the game to be a POS overall. Just like "Playboy Mansion" I may buy said game for next to nothing.
 
I was probably one of those people, but I'm going to wait until it drops below $20. I haven't seen any press for this game at all. I really don't think its going to sell much at that price.

Sad thing is is that it is on the Xbox best seller list at EBgames.com (under ESPN NFL 2k5 and Burnout 3)
 
its for those too young to buy porn. Official Playstation Magazine gave it a 1 out of 5. Thats not saying too much. It described it as having poor questions, took too long to show anything, and that girls weren't that good looking. They said it is for people that are too stupid to know what to do with 40 dollars to see boobs.

I bought it (well got it with credit and other discounts at GR)
and to tell you the truth it is a hell of a drinking game this will keep you and some friends very entertained, well if any of you have friends, for a very long time. The girls just keep you wanting to drink while answering questions trying to see boobs as is what most guys try and do, I take it some you are not real guys!!!
 
I'll be brave & come out & say I actually paid full price for the game. ONLY because I had some friends over last weekend & that seemed like the perfect game to try out. No one had it to rent, so I broke down and bought it knowing without a doubt I'd see it for $9.99 in two months.

Each "round" has 12 questions. You have this little sperm meter you have to move up to gradually show the good stuff. The footage goes from blacked out parts to blurred parts to naked parts depending on how far you've moved the sperm meter.

You move it up by guessing whether the girl gets each question right or wrong and later what wrong answer she guesses. Basically, you have to get 10 of the 12 questions right before you see any titty. :) And then, it's just the last two girls (provided you get the first 10 right) plus a bonus round at the end.

But, you can later replay the round and see it all from the beginning since getting 10 of 12 does away with the sperm meter for replays.

It's really only good for a rental & only then if you have 3 friends over.

That's a good deal you found but I still don't think its worth more than $30. I'm a real guy, but an even realer cheapass.

Yeah, same goes for me. I like my nudity free and I don't like to have to work for it. Maybe I'm just missing the point, which means this game wasn't meant for me anyway.

yet you spend all your time looking for games ...............hmmmm it seems you might like to do both. As well do I and I don't mind playing a game where I can mix the two. I mean most of you argue that porn is free, and well that's all fine and dandy for you, but it isn't intended to be most of those sites want you to subscribe right(hence pay). I love going to Strip Clubs with my boys and tipping and messing around with strippers, going clubbin and puttin it down on slutty club girls, but still when you have a buddy night this game is a pretty good way to pass the time. Oh and no girl real or otherwise is expected to be welcome 24-7!!
 
The only people I see buying this game are 13 year olds since they won't have access to Playboy's or Porn.

Ok I'm done with this thread, I by no means intended to come onhere and defend this game, I mean it is what it is. There is nothing special hidden here, my only intention was to say I had it and have played about 3 episodes in and have found it enjoyable. No way is this game gonna be Game of theYear or anywhere close to it but fun nontheless.
 
The 3 mingames are fun for 4 player action. I really enjoyed the skiball. Deffinitely one of the best I've played in a while
 
I don't judge all my game purchases by reviews, but if this game got a 0 that means to stay FARRRRRRRR away. I might buy this game for 5-10 just to laugh at it or get good trade in credit somewhere.

The actual Xbox with DVD remote plus an extra S controller for only 199.99. I agree with you though. The only way I will buy this game is if I see it from below 20 dollars. I just thought I would inform the people that are intrested in it.
 
I saw on another board that EGM gave this game in their Nov issue something like a 1.0, 0.5, and 0.0.
 
I bought the game, to be honest, I love it. The trivia is very much in the You Don't Know Jack vein, the mini-games are excellent and the boobs are just an added bonus.

People are knocking the game simply because it has tits and nudity without actually looking at the game itself.

edit - I'm of age to buy porn, so I didn't buy it for that reason and there is no way in hell this game deserves a 0/10 rating.. 5-6/10 I could understand.

yeah, i read that article today, and i was really tempted to write a mean letter. Greg Orlando has issues.

First he tries to make a little joke about how the girl says, "whats the matter, dont you want to see titties?" and that the answer to this, the question of the ages, is "no." of course, he doesnt mention that you only hear that comment if you get 3 questions wrong *in a row*.

right off the bat, he doesnt want to look at nudity.

then he goes on to say that it is "poorly shot, poorly editted, poorly commentated footage". right. the video is fine. the jokes are actually *funny*, which is more than i can say for 95%+ games that TRY to be funny.

he also says its "40 minutes of bad trivia... which leaves you feeling like youre abusing retarded children". yeah, ok. one, he has no respect for women just because they take their shirts off, and two, thats really uncalled for in a magazine to make comments about retarded children. the trivia is as "bad" as You Dont Know Jack or even Trivial Pursuit, except with fewer shirts, and the girls are as "retarded" as anyone on that show Street Smarts. the entire second half of the game is guessing what incorrect answer the girl will get. the entire POINT was to ask them questions they would get wrong.

finally, and here is the real zinger, he blasts the game for not accomplishing what he assumes is its primary goal, being EROTIC.

some people just cant approach nudity without putting some huge emphasis on it. boobs are good. trivia is good. boobs plus trivia? hell, im sure the first guy who was told to have peanut butter with his chocolate thought it was odd too, but damn it, they both work just fine. its a fun game, and i hope they make a yearly series out of this. Girls Gone Wild is just smutty, The Guy Game is welcomingly goofy.
 
What I don't get is why they just didn't release a cleaner version of this game under the "Street Smarts" logo (a.k.a.,?, the television gameshow that essentially does the same thing only with clueless people on the streets... i.e., the one with the dunce cap, etc. )
 
With the plethora of really excellent games coming out this month, I just can't imagine spending money on something like this.

So, without the nudity, you'd still buy this game as a drinking game? Would you still rate it the same?

That would be a fairly decent trivia game.
I would buy that, I love that show.
 
Okay. Normally I wouldn't even waste my time arguing this but some people are being ridiculous. People need to consider that not everyone's situation is the same as theirs before making general judgements. I played this game at a friend's house who bought it....there were four of us there....all of us are married or have live-in girlfriends...and all of us are old enough to buy porn (believe me I have plenty.)

Yes the game is not a masterpiece... The trivia is sort of stupid...but it is easy and fun to play, and it is somewhat unique for what it is on the Xbox. We had a good time killing an hour or so having a few beers, playing a stupid trivia game and looking at some hooters. None of us were planning to rub one out to The Guy Game later on......I would bet that almost all of you going crazy insulting the game haven't played it, and many of you probably don't have any interest in it or in the type of atmosphere it would be fun playing....but it doesn't mean no one else should enjoy it.

I certainly don't think any 13 year old boy or even anyone else without a lot of dough should save up to get this one....there are hundreds of better games if your money is tight...but the guy who bought this one....it wasn't his last $50. He's a working adult and can afford to buy games when he wants, within reason. People should chill out and realize that different people have different tastes and lay off with the judgements.
