well not only that if the band is cool enough they'll sign it for you..

well I realize the majority of people get their music "illegally" I was more interested in what "official" sources people use .. because the majority of people would just write "torrent".
 
Anyone interested in 50 free downloads through emusic? Shoot me a pm, for the first month its 9.99 and 50 free downloads, it comes out to $0.20 a song.

Mainly xm right now (thanks to my free 3 month sub with purchase of my $30000 plus vehicle), though my ipod is always in use in my car...

Most music today sucks so I RARELY buy anything anymore... good thing with well over 1000 cds I was tired of wasting my money on albums with one or 2 decent songs...

to fill in the gaps in my music collection I resort to other methods, even doing so when I dont feel like digging through all those cds for one song...
