Nice. I just signed up here a couple days ago and was unaware there was a Howard Stern thread. As I'm sure you can tell by my display name I'm pretty psyched to see it!

I think they need to spend more time with Wendy Krueger.
 
I HATE when they go too long with Wendy but that call they did with her doing her Freddy impression on the " Jack and Rod Show " was f'n great.
 
I would rather hear a wack pack hour instead of the intern show. But they have to get Riley Martin to stay on h101, I love that freaking guy. I need to get my symbol soon.
 
Dead serious..they let it slip today about next week being a vacation...when they were talking about the Robin and Jimmy breakup.

They were praising Robin for breaking the news today instead of Thurs so that she wouldnt be around next week cause of vacation to deal with it.

I loved how Artie was gonna make fun of Eric from Hoboken when his call today didnt go as planned. Artie went to explain basically what the call was gonna be about and Howard cut him off lol.
 
I'm wayyyyy behind but I just heard a great thing ... Fred badgering Eric the Midget with the "zero point zero" clip and Eric basically barks at him. :rofl:
 
Ive gotta get some of the past few weeks tuesdays shows downloaded for next week. Tuesday is the only day I miss out on and today they had Jesse Ventura.

The one that won, was my choice from day one that they previewed them all.

Ham Hands Bill was good too...I didnt think that Booey Joel song was good at all...as soon as it starts it reminds me of some shitty song that belongs on the Speed Racer Sound Track.

I cant wait for todays, thurs, show because Bubba said Hogan was gonna be on and the last time Bubba and Hogan talked, they were dishing the dirt about Hogans ex-wife etc etc and Hogan said if he gets back on Howard he'll talk more..its gonna be good..my luck..it will be an epic failure.

I gotta download the tues show because I missed it and Ill need something for next week.
 
I usually don't like her appearances on the show. She always talks like she's out of breath and she's being questioned by 6 interrogators at once.
 
Howard's rant about how he has empathy for the record business and how no one buys albums anymore.. but then he turns around and talks about how he goes to screeners.. what a fucking joke...
 
I gotta download some shows from the first year when it actually sounded like they gave a shit about putting on a good show.
 
Yeah my biggest complaint lately is "the lady that plays Robin".
I had cartoon steam coming from my ears when she said she was just playing a character the past 30 years. I can't stand her. I like that robingswrong website lol they point out every stupid thing she does.

edit: Another thing about her that bugs me lately is that it's like she isn't even listening to the show. Howard will announce a certain guest is coming on and 10 minutes later while they are talking about that person Robin will say something like "we should have them on the show!"

That was amazing when she said that. I can't believe Howard didn't give her more shit for it. Just think if Gary would've said something like that. Howard would be talking about it yet.
 
Also when Robin cuts someone off and asks a question when any normal person listening knows that had she stfu they were just fixing to say what she asked about.
 
After listening to the Fred Vs Langford situation...I gotta say I somewhat sure of what the issue is but I find it awfully prick-ish of Langford to be so overbearing when someone is trying to state their side of the argument.
 
Before I forget...theyre taking off another week when labor day hits..a week or two after this vacation?

Anyhoo..next week is suppose to be "Best of Sirius....so far"
 
Ugh...way too many vacations..and Fridays off..and commercials.. It seems like there is almost just as many commercials as there used to be on regular radio almost!
 
Nah..I gotta disagree with the commercial comment. He usually goes an hr to an hr 15 mins till the first one hits..depending on if he has guests or not etc etc.

The live show and the west coast replay have the least amount of commercials.

Replays after that have quite a few to keep things on schedule.
 
I just got tired of listening to Stern (too many days off, too many meaningless rants, etc)... when this merger is complete, I will probably listen as I dont care much for O&A... Ron and Fez on the other hand are the best
 
Yeah that's probably why I'm getting the commercial mother load because I only hear from about 8:30 or 9 to the end (eastern time) of the live show then I listen to the replays to hear what I missed.

I kind of miss master tape theater. I like the best of the week but..I don't know..
