Well, considering for the past 2 1/2 months, I haven't really bothered to do anything more here than check the latest adds that speedy posts. Flying back out to Memphis Aug 10th till the 27th, I'm sure I'll be here a bit using my partners MacBook while hes at work during the week.

I have to look over an intern's shoulder, at work, tomorrow morning. And, damn; she be lookin' good.

She seems like she doesn't have a personality, though. I'm going to see if I can make her laugh, in between me ogling her ass.
 
I actually kinda like that shirt.

And the Freezepop font print, whoever they are, bears a resemblence to the Buzzcocks font print giving me punk rock cred.

So I've really gotten into Godfather Blackhand on the Wii. I've put 14 hours into it and took over Little Italy so far. I always start gang wars when I take over warehouses, though. :lol:

shit aint cool. And why is her weakest album getting so much attention? I thought it was bad enough that B&N seems to have the Reminder on repeat but a V-Cast commercial is too fucking far
 
My poor Jack Russell, Mockey, is shaking like a leaf under my feet because of the thunder booming outside. Little guy has always been afraid of thunderstorms...surprisngly though, thats about the only thing hes afraid of...

Well fuck. I wanted to pick up the Bomberman PSP game for $5 at CC, but it's OOS online and not available for instore pickup, but doesn't list my stores and say OOS. I'm hoping they just won't do in-store pickup on it. I think I'll give them a call and see if they have it in stock, and I might try to go tomorrow.

I might call back and try a larger department, like TVs.

Might also work for them to try and track down someone in music & games. I know I have issues getting in touch with them, so having the UPC for the game and speaking to someone at CS works as a backup plan.

Thanks for the tip. Rang for probably a minute, but I got the guy at CS to look it up. They've got 2 left, so hopefully one of those remains tomorrow. :pray:

Yeah, came back a day early. Scheduled to come back tomorrow, but we have to be out by 10AM and it was overcast today so it was easier to just come home today. It was a nice trip.
 
I finally got that computer I've been building to not shock the fuck out of me.

My dad is going to try and find a copy of Windows Vista Personal: Ultimate, or whatever, at work. If not, I'll acquire it by other means...
 
Does anyone know how many computers one can install Vista on? My mom's new laptop (well, technically, it belongs to AMD, but it's hers as long as she works there) came with Vista Business edition.

Bomberman for PSP isn't listed on BB's website. I guess I'll call them tomorrow after I call CC (again) so hopefully I can either buy one at CC or PM it at BB.
 
Tried to get in on that Best Buy deal where you get The Bourne Collection + $7.50 in movie cash for $10 if you pay with a Mastercard this evening and it turned into quite a fiasco.

They had copies of the set but none of them had anything on the package indicating movie cash. So I asked a guy working there if the movie cash would be inside and he said "Yep, it'll be in there." So I went ahead and bought it.

Decided to open it in the car since I was a little doubtful that the movie cash would really be in the package. It wasn't.

Went back inside immediately to complain about it and the first girl wasn't having any of it.

BB: "Well we don't just have movie cash coupons laying around. You can grab another one, return this, and open that one."
Me: "But what if that one doesn't have movie cash?"
BB: *shrugs* "You'll have to contact the manufacturer since they were supposed to put the movie cash in the packages."
Me: "I'm not happy with that at all."
BB: *more shrugs*
Me: "Why don't you refund $7.50 since there was no movie cash."
BB: "I can't do that, I could ask my manager..."
Me: "Let's do that."

So a few minutes later the manager shows up
BB: "We have 80 in stock, blah blah"
Me: "I only bought this because an employee told me there was the movie cash. If he had said you were sold out of the ones with movie cash I would have put it back on the shelf and left."
BB: "Let me go back and check." (Not exactly sure what she means but figured she was going to see if they had any with movie cash left in the back.)

So a few more minutes later another manager came over
BB: "We only had a limited number with movie cash and they've all been sold."
Me: Told the deal about only buying it because the BB guy said the movie cash was inside it again.
BB: "We can do a return on it, but we don't have the movie cash unfortunately. [Finally an acceptable solution IMO.]
ME: "Sounds good."

Basically I was a PITA until they caved. The front line customer service girl was just awful, but the final guy was good.

I wonder if anyone read all this? :lol:

On another note this set is one of those deals where they get cute with the packaging and end up producing something that is way more fragile than a standard DVD case, more of a hassle to get to the DVDs, and won't look right on a DVD rack. Quite a feat. (Up there with the Simpson's head sets.)
