Well that didn't work out so well the last showing for The Simpsons tonight was 9:40 and I got there at 9:30 and it was sold out. So no Simpsons movie for until Monday.

I read in the local Sarasota paper while I was at the beach that it'll take two more years for the Simpsons to be the longest running TV show EVAR! Interesting.

That may be US but there is no mway The Simpsons is the longest running TV show ever. It's not even the longest running fiction show. But it may be the longest running animated show.

Looking at Wikipedia that is not the case. Maybe I read that wrong.

Dr Who ran from 1963 to 1989. And I know it doesn't hold the record for the longest fiction show. I think the longest all time show is the CBS News, but that's non-fiction.

As for animated, the flintstones may be the longest animated us show. But even then, there are probably soaps that have run longer as fiction in the US.

According to Wikipedia, the longest running TV series would be Meet the Press, which went from '47 to present. Animated is some Japanese shit that started in '69 and is still going, so I'm assuming the article meant US. I guess I don't know what the article was talking about.

Okay, I found the same milestones on Wikipedia, but worded much better.

In 1997 they surpassed The Flintstones as the longets running prime time animated series in America. It beat Ozzy & Harriet as the longest running US sitcom, and will soon beat Gunsmoke in primetime, scripted television series.

Anyone here like Bullet For My Valentine? I hated them at first, but then I went to their myspace page and heard this song that I've heard before on the radio. Their songs are actually kinda cool actually. I can relate to the song " All These Things I Hate" .

Though I don't really listen to ( their page says "metal " but i'm going to say ) metalcore? Punk? Hardcore? Hard punkcore? Punkcore metal? Something.

I thought Meet the press had that record at like 50+ years. I'll end up going Monday proly to see it. I was geeked to see it but oh well.

Anyway my Neighbor is ok. Someone drove by fired shots at his house. He wasn't home, but his wife, and kids were. He's new to the block been here for about three months. He's two houses down from me. My neighbor to the right was out putting fishing stuff into his car. He said it was a blue Buick looking car. Police are out here they found bullet shells on the ground. Ain't tell us much. We when asked dude do they know why someone would want to do it. He just walked away.

So there's a reason behind it.

I listen to them every once in awhile. I like how many of their songs are not just loops. Like in the middle of the songs the guitar playing is different and makes it appear that it is a different track but it is still the same one.
