Not a bad weekend, though. Used some GS credit to pick up Eternal Darkness and Silent Hill 2, picked up the "Mr Gay" deal from Best Buy and got the $25 gift card, got my 360 running long enough to play some more Portal and killed a bunch of hours playing RE4 on the Wii.

I dunno what it is about RE4. I don't like Resident Evil games, but I'm really digging this one, despite it being annoying as all fuck at times. Back-tracking and escorting - the two things I hate most in games...sign me up! :roll: But, I really like the Wii controls with it.

Well I had it on CD and I don't know what happened.. and all that talk about Gay-Z like a week ago got me wanting to hear it again and since Oink died... well... Soulseek sucks dick. :/

And Liquid - she's not a real blonde, so she loses points on that part. Not bad overall, but her eyes are creeping me out. Her right eye says, "I'm thoughtful, deep and sensitive" but her left eye says, "I'm going to devour your soul!!!"

She looks damn fine as a blond though, which is more than I can say for most blondes. :lol:

I will grant you that - I'm not a fan of blondes myself, really. I think I have only ever dated two.

I'm a face and eyes guy, though; a pretty face and eyes goes a long way with me. I like her face and jawline...but damn, that left eye is weirding me out...

Being from this area, do you frequent any Gamestops? I ask because I think I'm going to start "buddying up" to one, and making it my store of choice. (It's weird, I know...)

Of the four that are within two miles of me, I like the people at the closest store, but they have to worst selection. I don't like the one at Westland Mall, because it is actually in the mall. The one by the Westland Target smelled like, no lie, nasty sweaty feet yesterday and I couldn't stay in there long.
Which brings me to the one on Wayne Rd, which is currently my favorite as far as stock, but they only have like three parking spots.

If you hit up any GSs, do you have any recommendations?
 
Shit, I'd be locked in my room w/ weapons to defend myself if that beast was my mom.

.....Or I could pay PR 30 bucks to take her outta hea' real gently.

I wish I could help but I avoid Gamestop like the plague unless I want to trade games in. You have a clusterfuck of 3 gamestops right there at wayne and warren. If you look at them on mapquest you can see they form some type of unholy gamestop triangle which beams in know-it-all gamestop employees from a distant planet. I've considered blowing up one of those three stores to put an end to this. I remember I went in to the one on wayne just south of the mall about a year ago and a kid who used to live by me in 2nd grade was working there. He had turned to the darkside and was now peddling pre-orders and game informer subscriptions. It was sad to see another good man go down that way.

TFN - that was a pretty good burn with the Shrek picture.

Yeah, those are the ones of which I speak. Sadly, the one you mention is the best of the three. I did have kind of a funny thing happen in that store yesterday. Story spoiler:
I was looking around, deciding what to use some store credit on, when i notice this gothy looking 20 yr old chick in there (hair dyed too black, lip piercings, etc - a little too hardcore to be emo, but not quite punk) glancing at me. Pixie called me (of course, I felt like super-geek since her ringtone is the Final Fantasy battle victory music and I'm in th emiddle of GS). As I'm walking around the store asking Pixie if she had any requests for what to get, I notice I keep ending up by the same goth girl and her sister.

I get in line to check out (I'm still on the phone with Pixie), and the sisters get in line behind me. The goth girl's sister goes up to the counter and picks up a RE calendar to show to the chick. Seeing this, I ask Pixie if she wanted to play RE4 that night and I heard the goth girl say "Ooh, he's into Resident Evil!" and I can tell they're talking about me, so i decide to have fun with it. I say to Pixie, "Do you want me to bring home some dinner? Okay hun, love you, too" and I hear one of them say, "Aw, he already has a girlfriend." I'm trying to hold back a snicker as I hang up the phone.

I get up to the counter and the clerk is having problems finding Eternal Darkness and it is taking a while. I use this opportunity to turn to the goth girl and smile that smile and say, "I'm sorry - I hope I'm not holding you up." Her sister says, "No, no it's okay!" and the goth chick says "Yeah, it's fine" and I kid you not - she starts blushing. That gave me a good laugh after I left the store...

Anyway. there is a new one on Ford rd, a mile south of there (and slightly closer to me), but like I said, their used selection is the worst. But, I like the people there, so I may start to do any preorders with them in the future.
