I'm not saying it was a porn topic, I'm using that as an example. Porn is not allowed on CAG, at least where that fact is enforcable, IE in PMs. Shrike and Keen knew he was breaking the rules by sending tits via PM, and it was pretty obvious Keen knew he'd get the stick if he did it. Other than Shrell at the time, I was one of the only ones not going "SHrikes, U R teh suxors!!!" I knew what I was doing and was prepared to take responisibility for it. (My thought was, "Oh, I'll get a 1 day ban on the fourth of July - I think I can handle that.")
Imagine if Keen had PM'd the pic to, say, Lulu. I doubt she'd be happy about it. But, Keen even said he was going to do it, and Shrike responded. Since I'm using Lulu as an example, imagine if the same thing happened in the OTT with her. He would have said he'd do it, she'd respond with "No, you better not" and it would have ended with that. Shrike instead let him walk into it. I don't think that was cool, but it is Shrike's job to enforce the rules, which is what he did.

Shrike said that the PM is between the two parties, so say, I got PMed boobs I could then report it because I am one of the two parties. Shrike being a mod didn't need to report it; he banned for it which would have happened if someone reported the PM as offensive.

Exactly, Plume, no hate here, but I did it to show a precedent; shrike saw Plume's post, slap on the wrist. I clearly stated what I was doing, shrike said "whatevs" so I did it. I was hit with a week ban, big deal, but there was uproar, shrike decided he was sick of it all and wanted out of the mod seat, this was shit, and really I'm fairly offended that those who had NO part whatsoever are in here bustin' mine, zew's, Plume's, and Kayden's balls. You missed the point, the emotion that was in the old OTT, and that is why this is a big deal, because shrike flaked and now we are getting reamed for it.

I've read it and I was pretty much on the ball. Stupidity ruled today. Unfortunately.
Strell was right. Keen deserved a ban, not necessarily a week. Common sense says not to PM someone that says not to send that kind of stuff to a mod. He even cryptically said that it wasn't a good idea, but he couldn't stop Keen from doing it.
