Your Dreamcast pooped? you might want to have that looked at
I don't know, I sold it before I saw it do anything like that.
the more important question would be, who's counting correctly?
Scorch, since it's his OTT, and since he's learned to count to 5, I guess he's doing it correctly.

Wait, you sold your Dreamcast? You should have yourself checked out.
Wait, you sold your Dreamcast? You should have yourself checked out.
I guess so. I hadn't played it in months and I gave it a good home with half my games, and the other half to another CAG.

Better to have it played by someone who will play it than sit and collect dust on my shelf.

I haven't been in an OTT for awhile, but who'd a thunk it that Scorch would be one to make an OTT. Then again, I never imagined JimmieMac making one either ;)

Anywhow, I'm back for Comic-Con, and I must say that it was great.

I only went two days at it (next year I'll try for at least 4), butit was great. As soon as I walked in my eyes went wide and I just stood there taking it all in.

I got to meet Gabe/Mike/Jerry and the penny-arcade people which was just cool. Bought a t-shirt from them and they signed it. I only now have learned that they were also giving out free sketches. Damn, I would have loved to have gotten one of those, and even pay for it. The guys over at penny-arcade turned out to be really fun guys and it was great to chat it up with them. We probably talked for a good 45 minutes. I wish they would have had some more of their books that they had from Sukura-Con, but I'll either try for E-bay on it or just wait for when they release a more thorough collection through Dark Horse, which I also saw the cover of it.

Wanted to get a Johnny the Homicidal Maniac Collection from Slave Labor since mine is kind of beat up from years of use, but they were sold out. I'll just order it online. They were also out of I Feel Sick and Squee. Kind of stunk. Really was hoping for some Jhonen Vasquez stuff.

I found a great new comic that I hadn't heard of from Arsenic Lullaby. Some really great dark humor.

The Nintendo booth was just amazing. They had downloads, prizes, cards, a big giant Pikachu, and a whole slew of things. I wish I had brought my DS along for the trip since they were giving out these awesome Zelda coins if you showed a Nintendo product and especially a DS. i was afraid that it could break because the convention was even more busy and congested with people than last year's.

Sony's booth pretty much sucked. All they had were mostly demos of games that have already come out like God of War and the people working it were really jackasses. The Sony movie booth wasn't much different except that the people there were o.k.

Lions Gate Films had an incredible booth and showing. Just stunning. They also passed a ton of stuff. From t-shirts, to posters, to buttons. I nearly got a Devil's Rejects shirt that one of the booth babes that was checking me out through to me, but some little old lady jumped in front of me so I gave it. I did manage to get a Devil's Rejects poster, had it signed by Rob Zombie (he's pretty cool in person), learned that Saw 2 was coming out (also got a poster for this one(one of my favorite movies from last year)), saw a preview for Undead (this Zombie flick looks better than Land of the Dead and I hate to say it, but even most of the Romero zombie flicks. ) Probably not, as I'm starting to think that they'll probably fail to have the ideas materialize.

The Aeon Flux booth was way cool. Gotta another poster from the movie and then a War of the Worlds poster. Wanted a t-shirt but didn't get one.

THQ wasn't bad. Got a Juiced shirt, an FSW PC demo, a full CD Soundtrack to Destroy All Humans, some keychains , etc.

While I was at the Midway booth I got to play some of their upcoming games and I must say that they are shaping up very nicely. Midway Arcade Treasures 3 looks great and the ports seems to be adjusting well. The control seemed pretty good for the few racers I played and they seemed to translate well. The Suffering 2 looked plaing badass. It seemed to simply be more of the same, but slightly better I must say. They had a great booth and showing.

Over at Blizzard I finally got to see some trailers of the long delayed StarCraft: Ghost and got to play a demo of it finally. The game is shaping up impressively, but seems to be missing something that past Starcraft games had.

Capcom had small showing, but I did get to see a working Viewtiful Joe DS which was very cool.

Behemoth/Newgrounds and Alien Hominid were pretty cool, and they had a visual of the next Behemoth game which I can't wait for.

Dark Horse had one of the best showings around with a very impressive booth. Found a Goon book and I can't wait to buy it when I get some cash. The Goon, from what I read, is a great comic and I'm glad it won this year the Eisner.

That's mostly it for this one long ass post. Basically can't wait to go next year and hope that next time around I get some more loot.

Hmm...seems like I killed the OTT.

And after doing some searching it seems that Undead has already come out on July 1st I believe, but that no theatre in my area is showing it. Damn.

Damn, you can get all sorts of free shit from these Cons...
Pics of Saw 2 poster!
Ughh....I still have yet to go through all of my stuff and organize. It still in the suit case, but I can describe it. It basically looks like the Saw 1 poster with the hand/foot, but this time around it on the poster it says Saw and then the hand is holding up two fingers.

It looks something similiar to this but again, with the two fingers up:
What do you say we keep to a relatively static OTT title? Jesus Christ.
"Relatively static OTT" sounds like a cool name...
Damn, you can get all sorts of free shit from these Cons...
Ho yaeh. Tons and tons of posters of various things like anime, manga, movie, game posters, etc. Pencils, buttons, those rubber bracelet thingies, comics, signings, pics, etc. And this is just the exhibitors hall. The presentations also give you stuff like when I sat through that pretty dumb Avatar show from Nickelodeon, they gave me an Avatar t-shirt. Gotta see a screening of V for Vendetta and I must say that it looks amazing. It's definitely better than League is/was and might(can't put enough emphasis on might) look better than Sin City did.
What do you say we keep to a relatively static OTT title? Jesus Christ.
Don't you know, that's not the way of the OTT. I'd think you'd know that by now ;)
Don't you know, that's not the way of the OTT. I'd think you'd know that by now ;)
Goddamn, I walked into that one. I know the OTT changes, but not, like, five times in a fucking hour and a half.

What's it fu(kin matter, it's not like you have anything to say any damn way.

It's been worse my friend. I once couldn't find the OTT for something like 5-10 minutes cause they kept changing it around and it kept moving around in the OT forum.

I still remember the Moldy Boner OTT. man that was fun. And the one OTT with a title change every other second by mod. I feel like such an old timer with all you youngins hangin' around now ;)

Yeah, I can definetly second that. I met him at a DVD signing for House of 1000 Corpses at Best Buy. He was awesome, he waited around well over an hour past the time that was posted because the line was so long. Oh, his wife was there too and all I have to say is wow, that's one fine woman.

The little bit of time my friends and I were able to talk with him and his wife really showed me that he was someone who genuinely appreciates his fans. I mean he had been there over 3 hours at that point and he was still in a good mood and even BSed us a little. Very standup celebrity in my opinion. Its good to see that not all celebrities are dicks like Russell Crowe and Vince Vaughn.

Personally, my favorite was when Alucard started like three OTTs and all three were Alucard getting flamed to hell. It went on for a couple of days before they were conglomerated into one.

Oh yaeh, he was great and very genuine. The line was very long, like huge, but I was waiting way in advance so I was one of the first. Got to chat with him for little, and he acted very well and like you said, seemed to really appreciate the fans more than anything. Even though I didn't like House of a 1000 Corpses all that much I"m going to see Devil's Rejects since it look much better than his directorial debut, and that I just want to support the guy. I did see his wife there, and she is incredibly hot. Don't know how long the signing went, but it could have gone at least 2 hours I think.

I can't believe I missed that one. Sounds like it was a hoot.

Yep, I thought House of 1000 Corpses wasn't too bad but I'm definetly seeing Devil's Rejects to show support for him.
1k corpses owned i saw like like 6 times in theatres, twice in a row once
The one thing I liked the most is that it didn't pull any punches. It did a lot of things that other horror movies wouldn't have even dreamed of.
my favorite OTTs are the ones where everyone is super pissed at everyone else, they are really good for clearing the air
It's not Banky that you should be after, but me. i mean, I'm the King of Back to Back to Back posts. Ask El Scorcho ;)

Oh and I wouldn't say that the movie owned, but the overall premise was good, and the film had some great eccentric characters, which you really don't see in horror movies anymore, and in movies in general. I love the opening clown guy. Saw the film once and like I said, didn't like it much, but after a couple more viewings I started to really get into the film. I definitely could see the movie going and becoming a series. It really did have potential and so did Rob Zombie.

The smart money's on NOT reporting those posts.

Take that and that.

Ooh, and I forgot to put in my Gigantic post that I finally gotta DVD copy of Battle Royale I & II so I no longer have to watch it on my computer. Also learned that Casshern got picked up for NA release so I better find a copy of it fast, or at least before June 2006.
