What's Left 4 Dead all about?
It is a co-op FPS with Zombies. Basically there is a zombie outbreak and there are 4 survivors left in this area who you play as. Then you work cooperatively against these zombies that can be controlled by other players or by the computer.

Left 4 Dead pits four human playable or AI controlled survivors of an apocalyptic pandemic against hordes of zombie-like, aggressive "Infected". The Survivors' goal is to help each other make it through various scenarios to safety. The Infected are controlled by an AI that dynamically balances difficulty and mood depending on the players' progress and situation. In an alternate game mode, human players can control up to four mutated Boss Infected with special abilities and cooperate to stop the Survivor players.
No Fallout 3 Linkin?

That's on my most anticipated list.
I don't know...I didn't finish Oblivion, still want to go back some day...it would just be too time consuming at the moment.

....

You know they are not related in any way right? You don't have to finish Oblivion or anything, just did you like the basic gameplay? Except this time with guns and a post apocalyptic setting.

I just realized since there's a large emphasis on teamwork in L4D you'll probably need voice chat when playing with human players. Looks like I'll be playing with the AI only.

I like to suck the fun out of games, too!

Suck the fun out? How so? Playing with AI will be just as fun minus the talking to people part.

I know...I just meant that they're both time suckers.
Weird?! That movie was fucking money. Rodney Dangerfield was the shit.
Other good Rodney Movies:

3) Caddyshack
2) Back To School
1) Easy Money

Wasn't he in a serious role too? I forget the name but I heard it was good.
I know...I just meant that they're both time suckers.
Ok yeah, I know you mean.

I have never actually finished Oblivion, but have played like the first 20 hours of it several times over, cause either I didn't like my character or my saves accidentally got deleted.
Oblivion was THAT game! I never regretted spending 120 hours playing it.
No RPG will beat KOTOR though. :nottalking:

I will never regret those 500+ hours I spent playing it.

I put 100+ hours into Oblivion including the expansions. I loved it but there were still a lot of problems with that game. I hope Fallout fixes those problems and goes farther with the whole living world concept.
Suck the fun out? How so? Playing with AI will be just as fun minus the talking to people part.
Yeah.

You're so right its not even funny.

Hey Budge...see this?
Get L4D Woohoo, then maybe we can actually play some games together!
Will do. But it'll be tough without a live subscription. Mine runs out next month and I might hold off on renewal for a lil' bit.

Not sure about the serious roles but those are all great.

Did you play through it 30-40 times, or what?
Hey Budge...see this?
Yeah, I have seen that before. I am kinda conflicted on whether that is a good thing or not.

The main problem is that I refuse to pay monthly fees for MMORPG's and since Bioware is owned by EA now, I am sure they would just totally rape people with monthly fees.

Personally, I would rather just have KOTOR 3 already.

EDIT:

It takes me around 60-62 hours to fully complete EVERYTHING in that game. I played through it 8 or 9 times, plus there were lots of times I started playing but then never actually finished the game.

Funny, but I agree. Unless they make a single player RPG, a true sequel, based in the Old Republic, I won't be getting this either. My MMORPG time is wasted in World of Warcraft.
Naw.

Shaky cam works in a lot of different ways and it can actually be done very well.

Cloverfield was by far the worst way to use shaky cam I have ever seen. Movies like the bourne conspiracy did it very well. The cam highlighted how crazy the scene was as well as might it seem like if you were actual fighting a guy with a book as a weapon.

Shaky cam worked in a lot of movies.....I find it very very surprising that anyone would say that Cloverfield worked in any way. Simply because its the exact oppiste of what I just explained.

As TBC used it to highlight hectic scenes Cloverfield used it to....highlight people sitting in a subway. When it could have easily been a lock down shot. Even within the world of Cloverfield it would be believeable that at some point you would set the camera on a level surface......after all no one would hold a camera that long without their had cramping. The result is constant movement which disorenites the viewers because in real life your eyes although they move around a lot the image that your brain processes is very stable.
I thought the shaky cam in Bourne was ridiculous.

Jesus fucking christ @ Annie on JJ. :puke:

This is ridiculousssss.

These iTunes updates scare the shit out of me. Everytime I download them, my computer does not want to boot up. It gets hung up somewhere. It takes at least three times of powering it off before it'll fully start up. I don't think I'll be downloading any iTunes updates for a while.
What is that in your XBL avatar LP?
Supposedly from Death Race...I watched that movie and I don't remember seeing that anywhere at all throughout the whole film. It's a mask...I think.

Hey LP, does the 30% back on eBay through live search have an end date or is it something that could be pulled whenever?

It gets pulled whenever.

Hmm, good to know. I might use it to nab a North Face jacket.

Also, I'm closing in on your gamerscore.
