Parkway Plaza (F) Carle Place, NY

this place is like a garbage can. I dont go out this far too much but I have been there 3 times in the past month (opened the door at least).Me and a friend went in to get a pizza while my other friends went to the gamestop. They came to the pizza place rather quickly and mentioned that they had to leave since they couldnt take the smell... I had to experience something that could rush my friends out of a game store. I go in, its awful. Its like walking, nose-first into a wall. It must be an employee since the smell was like BO, but its unlike any BO I have ever smelled. The counter was far away from the door and no one was even near me. I opened the door and nearly gagged. I just shut the door, didnt even go in.

Heres another reason why I hate gamestop.

They sell GBA games for $35 new. Only Kaybee toys does that. Its a gyp joint and now with the merger we might all be paying an extra 5 bucks for games.

Well next time you're there, bring a can of deodorant, take a deep breath, and charge the counter!! Afterwards, go outside and look on the ground for $5 and see if you can find a tissue so you can A) Buy a GBA game for full price (you disgrace to CAG...) B) Wipe your tearful eyes for poor poor EBGames

well someone who shares my hatred for the carle place gamestop, i had a big fiasco there not to long ago, didnt know i had a fellow nassau county guy here, i used to work in carle place, over by the guitar center store

lol i know that store . It did smell the last time i was there, but i never go there as if im in the area i usually go to EB in the source by Fortunoff. Nice bunch of guys work there and they always have new smaller name titles. I live in queens but am always in that area on saturday as i usually go to bestbuy over there. The one good thing is you can never run out of places to buy games in Carle place. Bestbuy, circuit city, 4 eb's, gamestop, 2 kaybee, samgoody, FYE , toys r us and so forth

Yes its a small world the internet.

definetly, there are so many places to choose, and i go there mostly every weekend, funny you should mention that, well should you ever spot a kid with long red hair, and black clothes, thatd be me

The Gamestop near Stealthy and I smells aweful too.

Quote a Gamezone worker: "Smelly people go there." (Ironically he quit Gamezone after and got hired at Gamstop.

Hmm, I've been to that store, I go there once in a while, and I;ve never smelt anything. It must be a new employee. The one in West hempstead, NY on the other hand smells because there's a Quizno's next door.

a quiznos in west hempstead, hmm how is that, the freeport ones ok, carle place sucks, so i stick to akels deli, its closer, best sammiches on long island too, i know sammy so i gets a free food :)

carle place (Quiznos) sucks

What's even worse about that one is that there used to be a cool game store where they are now that even sold imports.

The one in West Hempstead is OK. It's clean and everything.

though i recomend if your hankerin for a good sammich in that general area, go to the deli by guitar center, they make these great cajun beef wraps, its also good if you cant afford mall food, a five dollar shake used to be a vince vega punchline, at hagen daas its a reality
Next to the guitar center? Where exactly is that?
off old country road, down glen clove road away from the mall, on your right is a big shopping mall, the deli is right next to the gamespot there
What merger are you talking about?
Check the gaming news forum. Gamestop and EB are merging.

Yeah the game store where quizmos was , was pretty good. I only went in there a few times though as there is nothing else in that little nook of intrest. Whenever i eat near there there its Bens Deli, TGIF or Charleys grilled sandwiches at the source. The place i miss most around there is Laserland. They were the only place to buy DVD's when DVD first came out and always carried every little title
