Yeah, because when a new iPhone comes out, you HAVE to upgrade or else you have to pay $300 to cancel your service and your credit is ruined forever. Apple is so crazy.

then they release the iphone 2 or 3 (i dunno what they're on) at the last acceptable price point, and the cycle begins again, with them making more money each time around.

as for the old ones, they melt them down to make the eco-friendly green shopping bags available now from your nearest grocer.
