The "My Xbox has never broken" thread.

It seems like all you here about is the broken 360s. Thanks for this thread, instead of just the squeaky wheels getting the grease.

Owned mine since April 2006. Not one lockup, disk read error, screen blips, or anything unwanted.

Its a steel wrapped brick inside of a bank safe. :)

Purchased my March, '06 Xbox 360 in early August, and have had no problems except for a couple freezes (after being on for a number of hours) which are very rare.

It's vertical, and in a stand that has a USB-driven fan (Psyclone). I play it around two to three hours per week.

I keep the brick propped up against the wall so air can get to all sides of it.

Launch console, and it's only had one disc read error. And that's only because it was actually scratched outside the console. *knocks on wood*

Bought on launch day. Mailed in with red ring of death a couple months back. Sent a different unit and just mailed it in for DVD drive skipping.

360 is a real piece of shit!

Your thread is stickied up top... this thread is for 360's which have never broken

Launch day console, and no problems ever, at least not permanent. I saw red lights once, and that was due to a brownout and has operated fine in the months its been since. I have gotten frozen in two player split screen in rainbow six vegas, but i blame that partly due to the game itself, and its glitches since its the only game to ever freeze on me so far.

I've had mine since pre-launch (thank you Mt. Dew!) and have never had a problem. It has always been horizontal and well ventilated. I've seen 6 people out of about 80 on my friends list have their 360 break.

I bought my 360 in August. Too lazy to drag it out from the entertainment center and see when its manufacturing date is. It sits horizontally. No problems out of it so far.
