All this on finals... Today I have to give my project on 'containment'.. Its history and how it relates to modern issues. My partner's good at mindless drivel like making powerpoints, but the fool breaks out laughing at the slightest thing, so there's no way he's standing up to give a speech.
Jesus, dont get them started on titles dude.
I haven't frequented the OTT's fo very long, but I would have to sya that tis one and the 9021OTT titles have been the worst. But I am sure there have been worst ones in the past.

Civil War #1/Infinite Crisis #7.
Free Comic Book Day.
Preperation for a week off.
Packing.
Moving out.
Moving in.
New Bed.
E3.
X-men 3.

Too much crap on my Brain.

I really can't wait till I can go to a comic shop and pick up Civil War 1. I tried yesterday, but (not that I expected it) bookstores definitely didn't have it.

Yay for one last final tomorrow. Gotta be worried bout them History of Jazz finals.

Damnit, one last paper to write, I'm half-way done...and I have no urge to continue. I must remind myself that after this paper I can just fuck around for two and a half weeks until summer classes start up.

one last paragraph to write for my last term paper.

then, on to preparing essays for finals and studying. so close, yet so far >_<

Can't wait for E3 though...

Just got back from golf and I sucked nards. Played 18 holes, lost about 6-7 balls, every single shot slices to the right, and I couldn't put for crap. All in all I give this day so far a 0/10. I am going to eat soon though so maybe that will upgrade my day.

If there's one thing I hate more than golf, it's mini-golf.

What the fuck. Mini-golf is awesome!
What the fuck. Mini-golf is awesome!
I hate mini golf cuz it makes everyone think they could be a good golfer. It's like people who are good at madden think they should be NFL coaches.

Nah not me. I just suck at BOTH!

Not around these parts... It's a "classy" (or, as I call it, "Catholic") mini-golf course -- very one-dimensional and plain.

I went there on a "date" once, and there were unruly preppies throwing their balls around (literally and metaphorically).

Hint: Don't let your girlfriend pick places to go on dates, unless you want to questions your religion due to boredom, anxiety and anger.

Heh... I remember the time I broke a bar table at a shit-ass billiards hall when some guy kept hitting on my girlfriend, in front of me. He scurried away like a mouse, to match the whispy whiskers on his upperlip.

There are middle-age, social & sexual deviant men who lurk in the surrounding park for other middle-age, social & sexual deviant men.

You never know...he might just save your ass.

I was working with one of my friends on a presentation in my junior year, and I was worried because he was usually anything but serious. He even threw together a fake version of our presentation stuffed with "wacky" clipart and sound effects, something that REALLY scared me. When we got up there, though, his charisma made up for my nervousness and pulled us through. That, combined with the fact that he noticed our approaching time limit and jumped to the end of the presentation as quickly as was possible, was enough to save our grade.

Three of the four DS games I had on order arrived today: Bleach DS, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and Metriod Prime Pinball. About $70 total.

Any intrest in buying mario kart mario 64 or nanostray fo rthe DS? I sold my DS, but I still have these 3 games left to sell.

I'm feeling good right now. This whole week I've been worrying that the transcripts that I needed were not going to be sent out on time but after a couple of phone calls I think everything will be alright. Now I have to decide on an apartment by the end of this weekend.

Just finished, "Moneyball", a spectaculear, well-written book. Now I'm looking up what others think of it.
reading is for whores and fat people.
Or both.

(Romance novels.)
reading is for whores and fat people.
Yeah, fuck literacy, we got TV and football! Those aren't for fat people at all, with their couches and pork rinds and beer. ;)

I haven't read a book in six years. :O

I've always preferred film, as both an artistic outlet and story telling catalyst.

I remember getting into an argument with that cornfedweb (or whatever his name is), when he thought he was bold by saying books were better than film, and I argued that apples were better than oranges (if you catch my drift).
reading is for whores and fat people.
I'd hafta disagree on this one. I learned a lot through reading. It's what got me started on investing. If anything reading gave me a lot of money (which, ironically could've been used to pay for whores).

You, my friend, should tell us what to read so we can be as fabulously wealthy as you. :D

Nice additions to your DS library. Even though I have all three, the only one I've played so far is Bleach. Maybe if I ever get around to changing my wireless router I'll play you online.
You, my friend, should tell us what to read so we can be as fabulously wealthy as you. :D
I'm not fabulously wealthy (yet) but let's just say I don't worry about gas prices as much as other ppl. Some readin' material for beginners. Don't ask me why most of them have the first name of Robert:

The Warren Buffett Way by Robert Hagstrom
Multiple Streams of Income by Robert Allen
Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
How to Ruin Your Life by Ben Stein
Real Estate Riches by Dolf de Roos
Real Estate Loopholes by Diane Kennedy
How To Start And Run Your Own Corporation: S-Corporations For Small Business Owners by Peter I. Hupalo

If you notice a theme, it's centered around real estate (which is how I got started) but really, investing can apply to many different facets of life. I think the ones that are the most important out of all of them is Warren Buffett Way, Multiple Streams, & Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I'd suggest reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad first as it's a good primer on the benefits of investing. It's not too technical so anyone can pick it up. I'd follow it up with Multiple Streams since it goes into the different ways you can make money. Then I'd finish w/ Warren Buffett Way because it will show you the methodology of one of the richest men in the world who made his fortune exclusively through buying stocks. The one I stress the least is the S-Corp one. There are a lot disadvantages to it that I disagree with in the book but it's good in that it gives you an idea of how to set various types of corporations. My own preference are LLCs but there are times when you want to use one of the other business vehicles.

It's because it is the height of badassery when it comes to names.

THAT'S fuckING WHY.

Let me guess, your first name is Robert.

Just listen to what name your mom screams out tonight for the exciting answer to your question.

:)

Kidding of course.

It's usually "Advil". She's got arthritis. And who knew you were into GGILFs.

I do tend to get them a headache from the waves of forcing passing through their bodies, causing their heads to violently shake back and forth in times of extreme ecstacy.

The correct phrase is "who knew GGILFS were into me."

Does anybody else tend to skip over long posts that don't have any breaks? I tend to do that fairly often. I don't know why, but it just seems like it's a lot to read compared to a post where the poster uses the return key.

Well I just put about an hour into Bleach DS and it's pretty cool. But I think I'd better find a guide soon, seeing as how I don't read japanese.

I've been doing that since the beginning of the internet.
