So now I'm going to get charged the same price for Blockbuster Online as Netflix, so I think I'll head to Netflix. Unless anybody could convince me otherwise.

Good choice.

I had WalMart online rentals, since I boughbt a DVD player from there and they offered me a deal on the service. After a few months Netflix bought them out, and offered existing customers a discounted rate to move to Netflix. I'd gladly pay the regular rate now, no questions.

I'm on the 2 DVD plan, and I get my movies after two days of return, always. Great service.

Getting choked off when you try to watch more than 3 movies a week on the 3 at a time plan isn't much fun. Oh the availability of new releases is pretty terrible as well. But then of course I don't know how BB online stacks up.

I know my mom wants a digital camera but I don't know anything about them.

Also anyone know if I can return something with the product replacement plan at another best buy? The closes one is about 30 minute drive and in a couple of months they are opening one in my town.

I got her the first two seasons of CSI.

She watches the reruns on Spike every night, and has said on more than one occasion how nice it would be to have the box sets.

So it was quite convenient that they had them on sale

It's not much, but I think Canon's are one of the best brands for digicams.

I have both an Olympus and Canon. Both are great cameras, though I use the Canon more since it's newer. :/

Go to Walgreens. My little sister - a photojournalism major - swears by this. Take your media (memory stick, compact flash, whatever...even burn them to a CD) and load up your pictures on their kiosk.

Here's the catch - it costs roughly 30 cents to print them out. However, if you order $20 worth - so like 66 prints - it instantly goes down to like 19 cents a print.

I don't know exact figures, but the point is that you can print them out for extremely cheap prices if you go in bulk.

Sounds like a good deal to me, especially considering Walgreens are fucking everywhere these days.

For the first 20 minutes all I could thinks was "Scientologist"...but I got over it. Its the same "good" Tom Cruise that was in Last Samurai and Collateral. Action was pretty damn amazing.

Show stealer: Simon Pegg, otherwise known as Shaun from Shaun of the dead. I hope he gets into more major movies.

Crap.

I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy the movie if I went to see it, but...I'm not sure if I can bring myself to pay for a Tom Cruise movie.

Of course, since I'm still jobless, I should really cut back on spending as much as possible...
 
Man, Fox is great at lying about what the next episode of Prison Break. Last week, they said the breakout would be happening, but nothing of the sort happened at all and now they're saying this week's episode is the breakout and I don't know what to believe. :whistle2:(

I had two offers- one repulsive and annoying girl I barely know, and one girl i really like who had her friend talk to me like the day before i had to ask her, which was also the day of a standardizd test, so i had a 15 minute window to ask and I pussied out. fuck.

Two weeks ago, they were more or less saying that over the next couple weeks the breakout would start. Technically, it did when Michael did what he did with Pope. But yeah, I'd think it's safe to assume it'll actually start this week.

I don't know. Their ads are usually supposed to be for the next episode, but these ones have been different.

Yeah, but I distinctly remember the preview for last week's episode started with something to the effect of "You've waited all year for this, and over the next few weeks, it's here."

I kind of worried the new album can't live up to Californication/BTW. After they released the Live in Hyde Park album, I was liking where they were going, so hopefully it'll still be good.

I think I'm addicted to Sudoku, which sucks since they're pretty easy for any difficulty.

This sucks, my PS2 (or at least the controller) isn't working properly, as it seems to be acting like I'm holding one of the analog sticks to a direction or something while starting it up and I can't navigate menus. When I unplug and replug the controller, its response is the equivalent of pushing the X button and continuing what it was doing before. :bomb:
