The new (and mod approved) Sony RLS thread

Good to know. Does anyone know when or how they announce the winners for the live chats?  They said they would be giving out games for the Beyond chat but they were super vague and didn't say how many winners. With the Disney Infinity there will be 3 winners but I don't know how the announcements work. I understand they if don't tell me, I didn't win... but I am curious about the process. Thanks.

Recently I get my games a week after ordering so GTA is late for me. Its going to be a birthday present for someone so it does not matter too much as long as I get it by the end of the month.

Mine came in from Southbend Indiana and i am in the Michigan as well. I haven't ever seen any of my games come in like this before. Is there a Rockstar or Sony distribution center that anybody knows about in those areas?

 
I just got my GTA V prize. 2 sticker packs, a Bugstars keychain, a GTA V logo keychain, a cap, 4 tee shirts with various logo's, a hoody, and a safe combination bell. Pretty nice.

That's a nice prize package however I thought you also won a copy of the game as well. Maybe I was wrong. Anyways I'd be on the lookout for a restock sometime next week as BrnJens as mentioned it plus there may be a chance we get Rain codes which would be sweet. I would love it if they started adding PSN games to the catalog.

I thought you received a copy of the game as well. PSN games would be legit. I would hope they're point only though. Stay tuned.

 
Where exactly on the page does it state you're an Advocate once you reach it? I just noticed a link pop up under Status and Store in the upper-righthand corner that says Advocate, but I don't think that actually means I am. The catalog certainly doesn't reflect any changes that would suggest I'd been upgraded. Help?

That's probably because everything that is for advocates is sold out.

This^ You'll know when you have advocate status because the rewards will be much better whenever an update happens. Like when GTAV went up. Only Advocates could order it. You'll also get bonus points if you ace the quizzes the first time around as well. I have a question for Veteran CAG's who were on the RLS site when the PS3 launched. Do you remember if the Dualshock 3 and other accessories were readily available? I'm not getting a PS4 for a while (still working on my backlog and school at the moment), and I'm just wondering in case I should snag the controllers as soon as they are available. Any input is gladly appreciated. Thanks!

 
I wasn't around at launch but signed up the following year.  IIRC there were a few accessories on the site (I got a PS Eye and a bluray remote) but that was when orders were completely free.  I don't remember seeing any controllers or systems on there, but IDK if they were just sold out at the time or didn't stock them at all.

I got mine last Monday on the 21st but my friend still has yet to receive his. We both live in California.

I'm wondering if the site lag had anything to do with it when people were pounding the servers. I never got past the checkout screen but still got my order in and email confirmation.

I don't think I was even charged the shipping fee. Only took away my points.

 
Man, it would really suck balls if people who paid don't get their games because they were shipped to people who weren't charged.  Hopefully the ON guys will get things in order.

Well each game says it could take 4-6 weeks to receive and while this is unlikely, it is possible. Also there is no connection between the people who paid and the people who didn't pay, I am sure if you placed an order and you have an order number / receipt, you will get your game.

True. The RLS guys are always on top of everything.

On an unrelated note, I'm guessing that the pink DS3s are never coming back in stock. :(

Tell me about it... I don't know if I should pull the trigger (Pun Intended!) on Killzone or wait for them to have it. Right now my only PS4 game is COD Ghosts... I do have a lot of PS3 games to play still and I want to play Beyond and Last of Us ( which I plan on getting from the site if I am lucky) I hope to chip away at my backlog and when Christmas break comes around, I will really be able to hammer on it.

 
The app is legit! I can't wait until they get it working for Android devices. I would love push notifications to my device. It works fine on my iPad, but I don't always carry that one on me.

Side note, did anybody get any referrals yet for the contest? I'm glad there's another month for that contest.
