The New York Times rails on the PS3
I find the so-called "flaws" to be irrelevant.

"I can't play music through the console." So what? Use a separate ipod or stereo == achieves the same goal. (Heck I watch TV while I'm gaming.)

"I can't play games while downloading." So what? Go eat dinner instead or watch your dvd player.

These are luxuries not necessities and He comes off like a spoiled brat.
Wow...I'm sorry but I expect to be able to play custom audio while racing my cars around the track. The original Xbox could do this.

Didn't you have to mod the xbox or buy third party software to do that for xbox?

Ahh i never fooled around with that so I wasnt sure. Still I'd be willing to bet money its going to be included in the PS3 at some point. Personally I could care less about custom audio because i don't play sports games where the audio drives you to commit suicide.
you my friend, are not a cheap ass gamer.
Am too =p. I just make sure to make the consoles pay themselves off.

Anyone know where I can find the full article now? New york times wants me to upgrade or buy this article. I can only find bits and pieces of this article.
I think it's bullshit and I hate the PS3.

"innovative and powerful Xbox 360"

What's innovative about the 360? Anyone?
Well it has wireless controllers included, as well as two seperate models for purchase. Not to mention an online service that doesn't suck.

not that much, but still.

It only has a wireless controller if you buy a premium and how does bundling a controller count as innovative? By that logic the PS3 controller is much more innovative since its wireless and includes a charger that allows you to use the controller while its charging.

PS3 had 2 models as well, heck PS2 had 2 models before 360 even did.
