Damn, being a Sharks fan I wanted to watch that. Had a lab class and no tivo or anything. :cry: I predict Sharks in 6. And hopefully all the way to the Finals and finally a Stanley Cup. Seems weird that the Avs aren't in it this year.
 
Anyone watching the stars game?? 2nd OT just ended. Waiting for triple OT......the guys look like a bunch of little kids on the ice by now. Cant even control the puck they are so beat.

And since my beloved blackhawks arent in the playoffs again, I am rooting for the ducks to win it all.
 
I hate to break it all to you, but the Atlanta Thrashers have this one wrapped up. Explosive Offense, great defense and the best goalie in the league. Go Thrashers!!!!!

thats funny, i seem to remember san jose stomping atlanta 5-1 a few weeks ago.


and yeah im watching the dallas game right now, triple ot is starting right now, im glad there arent shootouts in the playoffs.

Yeah... A friend and I went to D&B and by the end of the 1st overtime we decided to go play games instead. If I was by myself though I would've saw it to the end. I honestly figured they gave the game away though.

Edit: A bit worried about Cheechoo... and Thortons "spill" was scary too. Hannan was irritating because they were dropping like flys.

I'm actually hoping Dallas wins to knock out Van because I fear them more than dallas. Dallas always chokes like the Wings and Flames. lol

That was a few weeks ago!!! This is an entirely new season. Kari is at his best in the playoffs. Remember there is always next year.

I know what you're saying, it just came off as very unsportsmanlike, wishing harm upon a player. As much as I hated the Av's, I never wished that on them. That's all I was saying.

I believe it, the search function really hasn't worked properly in a long time, certain threads are omitted for reasons only known by CheapyD. Although you still could have scrolled down, but I of all people know about the presumed lack of interest in the NHL on CAG... and in all of the sports world for that matter, must be too busy whacking off to the 2007 NFL schedule instead!!! :fridge:

Don't listen to him, he can't complete a simple search on the message board, much less give an accurate injury report. Bertuzzi got a mild concussion against Chicago, and will likely only miss 1 or 2 games.

no relation, and im hoping that the wings and sharks meet in the western finals this year, that way i can get some tickets on the ice for free (my gfs dad is a die-hard wings fan) so ill be rooting for the wings until the meet.
 
I know the Rangers don't have much of a chance, but with my other favorite team (Carolina, as I am in the CAGHL) and when St. Louis beat Detroit in the WS... yeah anything is possible. Go Rangers.

dont count em out, the rangers had one of the strongest finishes in the east.
 
A 2 goal lead doesn't mean that much after 1 period... San Jose found that out last night, fortunately for them they only paid in extra minutes instead of with a loss.

I'm excited too, but forgive me if I'm a bit hesitant to give Detroit a game ever again.
 
Pretty good start to the play-offs, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Vancouver & Dallas have left tomorrow. My only major complaint right now is ESPN's desire to cover boxing instead of NHL play-off games.

If there's one thing I hate about the Predators (best team in hockey, in case you didn't know) is that they are too off/on. If they would just get their game together, there's no reason they shouldn't be bringing the cup back to Nashville.
