Chef Ramsay is the man. I have a feeling Kitchen Nightmares is gonna be way different in the US than it is in the UK. In the UK Ramsay yelles at grown men and treats them like little bitches and they take it ... something tells me it wont be the same in the US.
Yeah, they'll cry and leave the show in the US.
I bet JamesMac could start a similar show. He could get Graystone on there and torment him to tears.

Got this think in the mail from Phillip Morris about thir new smokeless product called Marlboro Snus.

Little tobacco pouches you chew.
Got two coupons good for one free pack each.

Might as well try it.
I don't smoke,.

Wouldn't you get bored then?
I have no problem with school, but I do have a problem with waking up at 6 am. Shit's ridiculous.

On that note, did anyone here ever take AP Environmental Science in HS? It's my first period class, and I'm considering dropping it for an off period so that I can sleep more and be able to skip rush hour. Thoughts?

Nephew: Yeah waking up at 6AM is the biggest, by far, flaw with high school.

I'll be on a full IB schedule in hopes of the IB Diploma, That means testing in 5 subjects at the end of the year back-to-back.

Not to mention SAT Subject test, ACT in October.

Oh, and applying for scholarships and college in the late fall/winter.

And I can't forget volunteering, and of course the sports I participate it.
 His senior year will suck.
Gotcha . I kind wish we had an IB program here, but it seems a bit too restrictive in terms of what classes you have to take.
Oh, and tell him to take the SAT/ACT in the Spring/Summer.

So no thoughts on whether I should drop APES? I already have 7 other classes, and I'm taking Environmental Philosophy and Policy (which is a LOT more fun/interesting than APES is so far).

N: I've got a lot of things to do in the spring: my sport takes up a LOT of time(home at 7 every school day), plus I've got to worry about passing my IB exams to get the diploma... I honestly will find more time here at the beginning of the year to study for the SAT/ACT than I will then.

Also, from what I've heard, Environmental Systems is a stupid science... theyve said they would have benefited more by taking Physics or Bio/Chem.

If you're in HS, how do you have 7 classes? Here we have 6.

This year... I will have Calc, 20th Cent. history, English, Physics, Theory of Knowledge (kinda philosph., but specifically an IB class), Spanish 4.
I was going to do IB.

But then I didn't.

True story.
That's why you have a girlfriend.
That's why you have a girlfriend.

I'm too much of a procrastinator and too lazy to do IB, really.

Also, six classes? We have 7 here, and had 7 in middle school as well.

You know who takes 7 classes?

Gay niggaz.

Yesterday Philip Morris USA, the tobacco company that has around 50% of the total market for cigarettes in the USA, announced the launch a new product: “Marlboro Snus,” in a test market in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. So what type of product it this?

As this particular brand of snus won’t be launched until August we can’t yet tell much of the details of the product (e.g. how much nicotine it delivers or how much it will cost) so lets talk about what “snus” is generally, and why the biggest cigarette manufacturers in the US are test marketing an entirely different type of product.

Snus (pronounced “snooss”) is the Swedish word for snuff, and is a form of moist ground smokeless tobacco, that is usually sold in “sachet” form – each sachet looking like a small tea-bag. Each sachet is placed in the mouth (usually under the upper or lower lip) for about 30 minutes and the nicotine and tobacco taste is absorbed via the lining of the mouth. The main difference between snus products and other smokeless tobacco already available in the United States, is that snus is produced using a process like pasteurization in which it is heated with steam. This kills most of the microbes that can produce cancer-causing chemicals in tobacco.
Guess I'll try it. Free is free.

fuckers are lighting off fireworks in my neighborhood. Who does that shit for Labor Day?

On a side note, thinking of grabbing a 12 pack. You know, to celebrate Labor Day.
Guess I'll try it. Free is free.
Don't do it, man.. not unless you're already hooked on nicotine.

Anyway, I like this OTT. The title is kinda catchy.

I'm taking AP Chem and Modern Physics right now (I already took AP Physics B last year and Bio 2 years ago). APES was actually an alternative for me anyways =/. If I had the Calc background (I'm talking BC Calc right now), I would drop APES in a heartbeat for Physics C, but alas.
We also have 8 periods, so by dropping APES, I'd end up with 7 + my off period.

edit: oh, my classes are AP Environmental Science, Modern Physics, AP Calculus BC, Discrete Math (part of Calc, but in its own period, like Differential Equations will be next semester), AP Eng Lit (IV), Environmental Philosophy, AP Japanese IV, and AP Chem.
