What do caffeine and aspirin have in common with the afterlife?
There is a point of our lives. To reproduce. Every living organism has one goal in life. To spread their genes as far off as possible.
Why do you think people are attracted to beautiful smart people? Is it because life is inherently better with those people? No. It's so our DNA has the best possible chance of being around a thousand years from now.
My question to you is why does there have to be an afterlife? Who's to say that our bodies (if they're allowed to degrade naturally) don't end up in thousands of other organisms that feed on our bodies? Isn't that a sort of afterlife? It isn't reincarnation but recycling I know but it's the closest we'll ever come to heaven or hell.

I brought up the second paragraph because of his statement and it smelled like he buys anything the mainstream media and the FDA peddle. I don't trust Corporations and Big Government pretty much.
Crotch forgive me if I resent the idea life would be a big cosmic joke. I would rather never have existed to begin with if that were the case.

It's not that it's a big cosmic joke. It's just that the cosmos doesn't give two shits about small creatures on the relative outskirts of a minor galaxy. You seem to be stuck in the centric view that got lashed against Galileo and Copernicus. We're not the center of the universe.

Where did I say we're the center? Crotch you'll note I said Afterlife and AFTER life. I mean either version. Afterlife usually refers to some type of Heaven. After life is more ambiguous referring perhaps to Reincarnation or something else.
