The Office - Season 3 - Discussion [possible spoilers]

I liked it.

I was wondering what Michael said after Pam came into the room. He said something I liked about learning something, but I forgot what and how it was said, so if anyone remembers, please post it.

I was kinda pissed since every time it looks like Kevin is going to have a good amount of focus on the show, they cut him off early... I'm still waiting for a Kevin centric episode.

i thought this was probably the weakest episode this season. it had a couple of funny parts, but it really didnt advance the story and just wasnt as good as the rest of the season

I can't really see an episode centered around Kevin working well... the closest we've had was the one where he was waiting to hear back from the doctor I think... anyway, Kevin's really the kind of character who's funny because of how he responds to other people's situations... so I dunno how that would work.

Yeah, kind of a middling episode. It's bad when Andy is one of the least annoying characters in an episode. Shun, unshun = unfunny.

I did love the watermelon smashing on Stanley's car and Michael instinctively knowing to call Stanley's lawyer and that it would probably be categorized as a hate crime.

I was almost crying at that part. The watermelon took a perfect bounce right onto the car. I loved it.

What? I found this episode so hilarious, my stomach was hurting from laughing...then again, maybe because I work in an office and I would be considered a "Nerf" since I'm not hardcore enough to work with a bailer.

That was probably the best part of the epsiode for me. I kept waiting for Michael to try and "smooth things over" with a giftcard to KFC or Popeyes. That is SO something he would do and it would set up one of Stanley's famous looks and/or a hilarious diatribe like when he chewed out Ryan.

Best line of the show, easily. I also love this Jim/Andy exchange:

"I want to take out an ad in your yearbook. Full page, with just two words..."

"...good luck."

"...not what I had in mind..."

yeah, second to the beer lines, those were some great ones :)

I missed the very beginning, so I only found out about the context of the watermark toward the end. Did they show it at the beginning? Is there a picture of it that someone can post?

I loved Creed throughout that episode. I loved his "The only difference between me and a homeless guy is this job" lines.

Jenna lives in Studio City with her husband, screenwriter James Gunn, their dog, Dr. Wesley Von Spears, and a cat, Andy, who can proudly be seen in the 2005 Page-a-Day Cat Calendar as Mr. April 7th.
Solid pet names there.

I enjoyed this episode. It was hillarious when we found out Andy's girlfriend was still in high school, though the best parts were at the begining and the end with Dwight and Jim.

I dont post in here often but I just had to stop by to say that may have been the best episode ever. There were so many great lines.

"I've seen animals have sex in every way possible. Goat on chicken. Chicken on goat. Two goats and a chicken with some pigs watching."

Also, that Indian chick is damn cute.

It's better that you don't see the image that they show. Michael describes it as a "beloved cartoon duck" and a famous cartoon mouse (ie. Daffy Duck and Mickey Mouse) having sex, but the image they show (for obvious reasons) doesn't look like either of them.

I personally thought that Andy's bit (unless he gets in legal trouble, which would be pointless for him to come back from anger management just to leave again) was pretty pointless and a bit strange to watch. I don't see Andy's character as the type to go after the young ones. It was pretty obvious that she was underage, and to see someone like her even be remotely "interested" in Andy is weird. I don't think they ever covered how they met, but it still crossed that line of believability for me.

I think you're taking the show to be way too literal. Most characters are in their own world and blind because of it. It's not like politics and the west wing are going to start taking over here... this was obviously not real a long ass time ago.

Great episode. My favorite line was when Michael was saying what he would give the women at the office if he could and he said that he would give Kelly a brain.

Great episode last night. Actually the last 2 episodes have been awesome. I thought there were a few episodes in the middle of the season that were just ok but the last 2 have been fantastic. I think my favorite part was when Michael had his finger thru his fly and Toby walked in and Michael made it look like he "de-bonered". LOL that was some funny stuff right there. Also the whole story with Dwight putting up flyers of himself with a Mexi-stache was hilarious.

Yeah, I tend to analyze petty crap like that a little too much.
But I've always liked the show because of it's believability.
That, and the whole Andy plot line was so damn... awkward.

Last night's episode was hilarious. Creed's line, "hanging a little brain," Michael's flashing in the beginning and Dwight hanging pictures of himself. Another part that had me almost dying was when Dwight accidently said phalis instead of phyllis and he responded with sorry I got penis' on the brain. Jim's reaction was priceless.

Did anyone catch this week's episode of "Thank God You're Here?" I just watched it for the first time and the actress who plays Angela was on it. She's hilarious.

Yeah, that part was spot on.

Courage for Pam.
A heart for Angela.
And a brain for Kelly.
