Well, here's my August game collection update. That seems like an appropriate start to the October thread :/ lol. There's some good shit here, though! August had some great releases and some nice CEs!

I stopped at a Goodwill today and got some very good deals

Super Mario Sunshine(complete)-$4

Orange Official Gamecube controller-$4

Grey Gamecube controller(not official)-$4

Jungle Green N64 console with the expansion pack-$10

a matching jungle green N64 controller with memory card-$4

a working PS2 fat console with power cord(after opening the disc drive, I found a DVD(Curious George))-$10

The wonderswans came with a large lot for the business, but I don't do anything with B&W Swans, so they're going in the collection. 

Red Target GBA has been on my want list for a while and I just picked up a few for the business, so I thought I'd just keep one for myself.

Midnight GBA actually belonged to a long time customer, but he saw something on the site (GBA-wise) recently that he wanted more, so I got this back as a trade.  It's a Japan-only TrU exclusive color.

Recent Pick Ups.

Tales of Graces F, Bioshock 2, and The Idolm@ster 2 were from Ebay. Got each of them at a great price. Glad to get then cheap; wasn't so keen on buying them at Gamestop. :lol:

Transformers Fall of Cybertron was from Gamefly. 

Iron King was from a local Mexican Supermarket, surprised to see it there but had to get it.

I have only read Volume 1, which covers about 60% of Season 1. The manga is 15 volumes long...

The art is closer to Season 2 and extremely rough. The initial gunfight would have been very hard to follow if I hadn't seen the anime version and Henrietta punching a Mook in Chapter 1 looks awful. Also, Jose has been renamed Giuseppe for some reason. Or the other way around, I am not sure.
 
Not sure if this is a deal or not, but I scored a complete copy of Mario Party 4 for $20 at FYE today. Since Mario titles hold their value well it and it's rare to find a complete copy in store this seemed like a good pickup.
 


See Wiggy, I still buy Games. Dante's Inferno + WET were $10 at Gamestop.

Anarchy Reigns, Yakuza Dead Souls, and Binary Domain were $26 @Big Lots. (Originally $30 but there was a 20% Off Coupon. So glad I decided to visit the Big Lots after my Family and I ate Lunch at the nearby Buffet for my Bro's B-day. 

Also have 2 more games on the way.

I would hold off on the $5 coupon, and wait until the Steal Of The Week starting on the 21st.
With two of them (2222 points for TWO) you could do a return rebuy and get a fourth game of your choosing. (It is a b1g1 coupon on wii/ds, I have started to pick up a number of rare DS/WII games so they don't get cleared out before then).
Returns are good starting oct 1st up until jan 15th (holiday season began) so don't lose your receipt.

But back on topic, I am pretty excited on a few of the pickups I got today/over the weekend.

Picture HERE is Animal Crossing New Leaf (Was $22.xx after a 25% coupon) a CIB Soul Silver from BB, a FE Awakening, also from BB, and a SMT4:LE that was a little crushed at the top but otherwise brand new and sealed from AWD

Ok so I MAY have gotten the pokemon trifecta! I showed the soul silver in my post, but I didn't mention I have heart gold arriving tomorrow (hopefully... also have a pearl arriving in the same order, but that was mainly for the trade 2 list) and JUST got an order in like 6 minutes ago for platinum... WHY AM I BUYING THESE WHEN I KEEP TELLING MYSELF I AM NOT KEEPING MY XL x.x

Hey Square, I've been looking to get that Rurouni Kenshin myself. Do you know if it's like Samurai X or the Rurouni Kenshin TV series?

I didn't really care for the TV series myself.

It's actually more or less a remake of an arc in the TV series, but all of it is packed into the entire 40+ minutes, so it's not terribly deep, but it's decent since it's one of those remake to make it seem better than it was before. It's kind of a mixture of both if anything.

Yeah, I'm well aware of the UK Release but I got this one cheap. I'm a fan of Saint Seiya, and I pretty much know what's going on. If I run into problems, there is always the Internet. :lol:

Quite happy I got the timeline poster. You had to originally preorder both X and Y to get it but my store had so many posters they gave them out to everyone for free while in line.
