Hopefully Cheapy will lock this thread and it will become a weekly affair like Bestbuy and Circuit City. I only buy my games at Fry's because the week of launch they are typically 7-10 bucks cheaper than anyone else (not to mention the asshole to customer ratio is significantly lower than gamestop/EB). Excellent work on the post, keep it up for all of us Fry's fanboys and girls!

Best Buy only gives 110% on a price adjust (i.e, you show them the ad after you already buy it) instead of a price match.

It's a gamble to buy it for full price and try and get them to match it.

I've PMed Outpost.com to CC once or twice, the other few times they wouldn't do it, it all depends on the cashier and how lazy they are.

Nice job on consolidating the threads (they really were getting out of hand). But you might want to consider changing the title to reflect Frys.com instead of Fry's, so as to make it clearer that you are talking about the website and not the B&M stores.

$65 for THREE xbox360 games...such a great deal, but must take into account the hits i'm going to take from Splinter Cell, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas, etc.

I'll sleep on it and make a decision in the AM.

i already placed an order earlier for table tennis and fifa world cup.

damn just read reviews for motogp and chromehounds and they seem like really good xbox live games...i'd put in another order, but i wish fry's took paypal as a payment method.

I want to get my hands on Fifa 06, I will check my Fry's tomorrow hopefully they have the same price in store, I don't want to pay shipping on it. :drool:
 
I really wanted to get Wild Arms 3 for that price, but as of now they are sold out of it (as well as Xenosaga). I cant even get either of those to show up on search...



As a side note, I know this isnt a 'game' deal, but if there are any sci-fi fans on this board, Stargate SG-1 dvd sets are EXTREMEMLY cheap. They are 16.99 per season, or 135 for seasons 1-9. This is about half the price found at other places like amazon, and about 1/4 the MSRP. I bought the seasons 1-9, even though i already have a season 9 unopened next to me :)
 
I think Fifa '07 is a substantial improvement over '06, for those of you who are interested. '06 is a lot more arcady though, if that's what you want.
 
NHL 2K7 out of stock...great...hopefully they'll have it back by the 17th, since that is the end of the promotional price.
