The Official NFL Draft Thread
I guess the Fins must like Stanton/Beck/Edwards better than Quinn. I still can't believe they took Ginn. We have far bigger needs that could've been addressed with that pick.
yeah which is why Ginn was surprising. they could have have gotten Hall or anyone else for the defensive side.

Yeah that has to be what's going on. Maybe not like them better but feel they are pretty equal so couldn't justify a high first.

Those Jets fans are--shockingly--some obnoxious chumps. But then again, aren't all 'hardcore' NFL fans?

They also get the early nomination for "Most Forced Positive Fan Reaction" for this summer's ESPYs.

Yeah exactly. I would've rather seen them address CB or DT then WR at the 9 spot. I guess we'll find out what their plan is shortly.

The big rumor is that Cleveland is looking to trade into this section of the draft to take Brady Quinn.

If it happens, awesome.

And oddly enough, I had the exact same outfit that they showed 4 year old Quinn wearing.

Well the Chiefs & Raiders could both use a DT so maybe the Packers do have something going. (Hopefully with the Chiefs)

It makes no sense at all, but I'm starting to wonder if my Bears will try and make a move for Quinn. I don't think they will, but I'm seriously starting to wonder.
Leon Hall to the Bumgals

Btw, stupid trade by denver. they could had waited for Moss
I like Moss for them but very much agree that there was no reason to make that trade cuz he would've still been there.

3 picks to move up 4 spots. Yikes.

Jacksonville is the leader in the clubhouse for best draft and they have yet to pick.
Packers, Dolphins, & Broncos are tied for worst thus far.

Did quinn still not get picked up?

MUAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH I have been gone for almost an hour and he is still on the board....damn.

fucking awesome.

Edit - well, giving up 2nd round this year and 1st round next for Brady Quinn...I dunno. As a Browns fan, I -really- hope this pays off, but as a Browns fan, I'm cautiously optimistic every year.

First-round pick next year...not awesome. Goodbye, "Winja" Charlie.

Ah, what does it matter to those cows and golddiggers who can now take off their Sizemore jerseys (and too-tight Vizquel ones). Difference is, those guys are definitely good. C-town's getting kind of 'high profile' again though, there's no denying that.

EDIT: I'm convinced marketing has as much to do with this trade-n-pick as pure 'x's and 'o's do.

How is that a forced positive reaction?

Personally as a jets fan, i was really hyped that the bills picked up a RB and not a CB. Revis and Hall were the two best CB in the draft and at 25, theres no way we would get either.

It was obvious that many wanted Leon Hall(hell they were screaming his name when the trade was announced). However, at 14 it was the perfect spot. If the steelers wanted Revis that bad, we might get another pick back and still get Hall. If they didnt make a trade, we would still have our pick of top CB and not leftovers.

I am very suprised that Olsen hasnt been taken though.

I dont see any WR they would really need to trade up for though, im thinkin houston

ope, anthony spencer. I didnt see that coming. I originally thought houston would end up at 25 when we had that pick as the Jets. I think that all changed when steelers went LB instead of CB after we took Revis.
