Stoneface, the experience was great. It wasn't really a high, or anything, just a change of scenery.
The DIPT(?) just changed the way things sounded based on quality and frequencies.
For example, my buddy Rachel sounded fine to me, but when I played Mario Kart Wii, the noises were still about an octave lower.
Whoa, how long did it last? Did you get the ringing in your ears?

My RMAd video card shipped! Too bad it's coming on Friday, when I'll be out of town, and the UPS man just leaves stuff on my front door
Nice.

Season 4 is the "worst" season, and it's only half as long as a regular season because of the writer's strike. A mediocre season of the show is still great to me though.

Season 5 is good again though.

Did you get to the Ben Franklin episode in S3? That's my favorite episode.
While it's true that Season 4 stunk, it also gave us the 'Dinner Party' episode, which IMO is one of the most brilliant shows ever. I remember everything after the strike being pretty good.

That's my favorite type of episode on The Office, when things are so incredibly awkward you can't help but laugh.

So I made a 'low cost' call from Manchester to the USA. The call lasted less than a minute, but cost me $31. The lesson here is do not trust foreigners and their payphones.

I'll have to post pictures of what some of the staff apartments on my campus look like, you wouldn't believe how amazing some of the apartments are right next to the concrete boxes.
Is your dorm room a concrete box, or one of those that have separate bedrooms and common areas?
Talkin' to me?

Mine is more like a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment that I will split with a roommate.

Funkin swank!

manwang, you still have my address?

That's pretty nice for freshman. Up here we have the concrete double/triples rooms (no kitchen, bathrooms shared with floor) for freshman, and then more like that for upperclass (usually 4-5 person apartments with huge living rooms/kitchens though)

Yeah, I was talking to you. I was gonna say, if you were gonna live in a concrete box, that $85 TV wouldn't really fit in it.

But damn you're gonna be living large!

Yup.

Want me to send it out today?

Yeah, there isn't anything distinction between freshmen rooms or say senior rooms.

They have those apartments (Also in 4 man and single person variates) and also two more average dorm type rooms, where there is no kitchen and the whole floor shares a bathroom.

However, those classic style dorms were in these old rundown army barracks and weren't much cheaper. I would rather pay an extra $400 a semester and get nicer room.

EDIT:

If I did get that TV, I would probably leave it at home, and try to take my 42" Panasonic Plasma HDTV. If it would fit...

I would do that too DB.

The difference here is more in the tune of $1500/semester, and you don't get a choice. All freshmen live in "traditional" residence halls and all upperclassmen live in "apartment-style." Luckily, our apartment style ones are all built since 1999, very nice and modern.

That Say Anything/Moving Mountains show is coming here too, Bioshocked.

I really don't want to pay $17 to see the best band in the lot play a handful of songs :/

Who the fuck organizes the band list for these shows?

Yeah. Let me see if I have your email for the paypal handy... if not, I'll IM you or something.

fuck yeah.
Best deal ever though was my fraternity. Something like a $2500 a semester difference (in my favor) with party dues included.

No skipping classes and shit to play games though... we've got our eyes on you.

I hate that Paramount's :br:'s are always $25+ on release and a few weeks after. I want to buy 'I Love You Man', but I guess I'll have to wait till a deal pops up.

It's kind of funny how the whiny j?w half of the $$$cast cries about the vulgarity on Live when the title of the latest one involves the word 'taint'

Uh, isn't the entire $$$cast full of j?ws? :whistle2:s

Why does my internet have to suck so much?

All I want to do is play some TF2 and I was getting great ping earlier, but I had some work to do. Well now I get on and I am ready to play, and none of my favorite servers are below 400 ping, and they were at like 30 ping earlier. :[
Are you implying all j*ws are whiny?

:whistle2:s
No. I'm was merely trying to point out that the term j&w doesn't differentiate between the whiny and bald.
So you took the new job, huh?
Ayup. Hopefully it's for the best.
My RB2 kit is supposed to be here today, can't wait to try the drums.
My buddy got his set up yesterday. I didn't get to play it, but the kick pedal looked $$$.
I've paid $50 for Live*

*
$50 total from 11/07 to 11/09
Hey Manboing...did any of your HD-DVD's from Fry's ship? Mine are still "In Process", but I got an email stating some of them are on backorder...like they'll every come back in stock.

Even at full price, Live costs less than a dollar a week. I barely ever play online and if push came to shove I'd probably still pay $50.
