I figured I'd make an official thread so we can have one with a first page that's actually updated. I'll try to keep this first page updated as much as possible, so keep posting all your finds so I can keep the prices up to date. Any help keeping this thread accurate is greatly appreciated. When reporting finds, please post what system each game is for so I can keep it as updated as possible. There are more in the old thread that don't specify which system, so I left those off this master list.

Clearly, because these are all clearances, they may not be available everywhere, and doubtful they will be restocked. The prices are generally universal, but seem to be slightly YMMV.

Hawaii Radioshack report. Hey guys, Radioshack on King St has a copy of GH:Aerosmith and GTAIV left. As for the Nuuanu and Ala Moana stores have a few copies left GH:Aerosmith left. The Kahala have nothing but games that aren't clearance yet.

Bundle. The display cases they have make it "look" like it's just the game but when they bring it up from the back, it will be the bundle.

Display cases? At the store I went to yesterday they had the actual game hanging on a locked peg. The console games they had set up really strangely though. They had the games attached to those security clamp things with a retractable wire that stores usually use for digital cameras and the like - so, you know, you can pull them out part way and mess around with them but not steal them. It was very weird to see games like that. Since the ones I bought were the last copies they had to come over and unlock the clamps, setting off the alarm in the process. The games seem to be fine though (no holes in the cases or anything :lol:). It sure seemed like a lot of trouble though - good thing they only had a very small selection of games (like, 8 total).

Here's the thing, it doesn't work if the game isn't on the site so it is kind of worthless. Also, calling the 800# is worthless. I got Madden 08 (360) for $3.97 today and the model # is 260-0744.

Edit: So if you want this game, you have to call a RS and get them to type in the model number and check other stores. In this case, I would give them 26-0744 and they would still be able to look it up even though the shelf tag and receipt have a seven digit number.
 
I've never had luck with RS clearance but I'll take a look for GH: On Tour. I have a RS a block away from where I live.
 
Anyone want to trade a GH: On Tour (DS) for a Gran Turismo 5?

Also, in the other thread, I had made a list of model #s and then someone updated it further. Looks like it wasnt carried over to this thread.

Would someone be able to pick me up a copy of Ratchet and Clank? I asked the guy at Radio Shack to scan it, and apparently none of the stores in the LA area have any copies.

Also to anyone in LA, the Radio Shacks on La Cienega and on Robertson pretty much have nothing in terms of games atm.
 
cool called RS near my house and they just sold it =( but fortunately one of the other store has it but in another city =( but they're shipping it to this store for me =). And the price is 14.97 not 8.97. Good enough i guess =p. Hopefully it'll actually scan 8.97 by the time it arrived. On what day of the week does RS do price drop?

Thought I'd share a piece of info a guy from my local Radioshack told me. He said that the less copies of a clearance item they have, the cheaper the price. I guess it has to do with wanting to clear out the inventory. One place I went to had 3 GTA 4 for $11.97 but the other one had them for $29.97.
 
Picked up COD: WaW for approx $33 last night. Not sure if I want to keep it or not, but I figured I would buy it and think over it rather than lose out on it by not buying it.

Seems to me like they drop the prices every month. Also, it seems like the prices have dropped some in the past 2 weeks. Anyway, that is all speculation.
 
These prices are not available online I take it. None of them seem to be the same as what is in the header. God of War for the PSP is still $40.
 
Anyone Check the prices on the PS2 Slim models lately? I was just wondering because I may have saw something in the old thread but no updates on them.

I think I got all the games I want from RS so here are the numbers I've collected. I did this lazily but you can format it however you want. You can either use xx-xxxx or xxx-xxxx. For example, GTA IV (ps3) can be looked up with 26-1016 or 260-1016. If it is blank, then I don't have the number. Games in yellow are new to the list. Most are from my personal receipts but I did get a few from a post by Slowdive21.

I saw this when I was in Radio Shack the other day, I don't remember what the price was exactly but it was tagged between $95-100.

I tried to buy the one Guitar Hero DS game for 14.97 (probably the first one can't remember the exact name) but they didn't have any in the back just a display for a OOS game :D
 
maybe I'm being dense, but I can't figure out how to search the website for store availability. Anyone want to offer some tips?

I dont think there is a way to check online anymore seeing every game and system on the site pretty much has the small "web only" tag on it.
 
ok, what is shoe talking about with the stock numbers for the games? Is he talking about looking them up in store if you find a willing employee to help you?

Excellent post, thanks! I can't believe you found that many games at Radio Shack as I've literally only seen 1 or 2 clearance games at each RS I've been to.

Yes, they can look up availability at nearby stores through their computer system, as long as they have the numbers.

this is just a little suggestion for the thread, I think you should try to find if RS also has some coupon/sale event and put it in front page too.

I was at a Radio Shack and I saw Cod: WaW for Ps3 on Clearance for 32.97. Not sure if this applies to the 360 version I didn't see any, so YMMV Either way good price for this game. Good luck CAGS. I'm located in Oakland, Ca BTW.

I've only ever seen the PS3 version of the new COD game there. Last I checked it was $39.97, so it appears its time to have them rescan it.

Yeah, i found two copies of Lego Indiana in Hawaii with that price. I picked up one and left the other.

It may, but I also noticed the official PS2 DS2's at TRU for $14.98, if that's the price you wanted to pay for them.
 
I bought GH3 Bundle for 30 bucks at RS. I thought it was a good deal, till I noticed they are even cheaper at CC :/

I also saw Mario Kart, and Mario Bros for DS for 19.97
 
Went back to the same Radioshack I picked up SCIV 3 months ago for $20.

Got:
360 - GTA IV - $12
360 - GH3 Bundle - $20
360 - Lego Indiana Jones - $6
PS3 - Ratchet and Clank - $15

I also got a generic ps2 controller they had on clearance for $1.17. I didn't even need it, but at that price its nice to have some sort of backup.

Passed on:
360 - Ninja Gaiden 2 - $12
360 - COD: WAW - $35ish
360 - GH: Aerosmith
360 - Wired Headset - $10
PS3 - GTAIV - $30
PS2 - Logitech Wireless Controller - $15 or $12, can't remember
PS2 - Dual Shock 2 - ???? can't remember

I left a copy of everything I bought (except Ratchet Clank and GH3, those likely were the last ones). If anyone wants anything, PM me.
