I figured we could make this and post out Character names, or our server. And maybe if they have realm transfers, get a CAG guild going or something. Well I will start:

Server: Skywall
Main Characters:
Arcaic Lvl. 33 Mage
Obi Lvl 33 Hunter

Best character name I have:

Hamburglar Lvl 1 Rogue

Well, lets see where this goes.

I am pretty new at the whole WOW thing. Only my 2nd week. Sometimes when I try to log on I am 220 or whatever other large number in line. And then it might go down to 130. Then back up to 200. Then 225. Then 175. Just all over the place. Why is this. It is kinda madening. It says I have a wait time of 10 minutes, then 78 minutes, then 4 minutes. Is this normal?

You pretty much picked one of the worst servers to play one, it has a very big population. Yes it is normal for a server with the size of yours. If you are not too far in the game the I would suggest switching servers to something like Gilneas which has a lower population. When I played on Firetree I never saw a line, then one day it is down aso I decided to try another server till it is up and BAM! it says I gotta await 15 mins.

Anyway, I stopped playing a while back. I got to level 48 with my Gnome warlock. I just stopped being interested, it became very repetitive.

Have some alts that I'm playing around with and started on a PvP server recently. I chose Akama since it was a new server. There's no queue times. People there seem nice overall. Except some who ninja my mining Ore :boxing:

I too stopped playing for a while.. it does get repetetive after a while (but to be fair all MMORPG's do). Oddly enough it seemed liek some of the more interesting quests (eg. slapping the peons to wake them) were in the beginning.

I have a running joke with my friends:

"I found this rad quest last night.. I had to kill 20 of something, 10 of another, and bring back 2 of something else"

Still, it's a fun game. It's funs to play if you have a lot of RL friends on (I think I have like 10 buddies from California on).. we chat a lot on it.

You made a toon on a high pop server.

Seriously, I would remake a toon on another server, find a newer low pop server. You should be able to ding 15 easily by the end of your first week if you're not in queue to log on.

I quit playing back in ... August... I had a girlfriend who played WoW and things got way out of hand so I just quit =P (NO she was not a WoW girlfriend :p, she happened to play and whenever I was on she always bugged me and I couldn't /ignore :p)

I WILL be back by xmas though! :D

Must...get...to 60...


Edit: Also to the guy with the long queues, you can gete to 10-15 within 2 days of like 5 hours of playtime, if even...easily possible on horde or alliance...the key is it slows down a bit at 20 =P and a LOT at 40

ive also got a dwarf hunter (30) and dwarf priest (39) on skywall

that's right, i got bored at 39 \\:D/

Karamia - Level 33 Undead Priest on Llane.

Played in both open betas, bought the Collector's Edition off the shelf at Best Buy, and only took a 3 month break during the summer. Otherwise, it's been all WoW. Maybe my new 360 will change all that? Hmmmm...
