Given that my family's been in this country long enough so that one of my grandfathers was one of the first to go to UMich's medical school (which opened in 1850) and another fought in the Civil War, I don't think we count as immigrant labor anymore. :)

I haven't had a cat since freshman year of high school, when the one I'd had since I was three had to be put to sleep.

He was orange, and his name was Oliver because that was (and still is) one of my favorite Disney movies. I miss him. :cry:

I'm still not sure if I should get a pet once I graduate. All I'm allowed right now is fish.

My cat was never good at that. My mom tried literally throwing him at a mouse once (the one time we had one in the house while he was alive), and it took him about ten seconds to figure out what he was supposed to do. :lol:
 
I trained my buddy's cat, Biff, to be a fighting machine. Then he took Biff away to school and Biff came back pussed out. He no longer held a grudge against people that smelled his cat tower or unprotected arms in general.
 
My cat just thinks everything is a toy, even when it's alive. He once caught a small lizard and just smacked it around like one of his toys.

Whenever I'm watching something but I'm not too into the story, I start noticing weird things, especially like pens and pencils on desks or being used. I wonder what brands they are and how they write.

I'm such a pen whore.
