The Oregon Trail coming to Wii

Apparently in celebration of Oregon's Trail's 40th Anniversary, SVG Distribution is dropping "The Oregon Trail" on Wii:

$20 and it drops December 9, 2011.

On a scale of bad to shits all over childhood memories, where will this game rank?

Hadn't seen the box art from the back til now. I originally thought it was the classic gameplay with pretty graphics and Wii-mote aiming for the hunting. Didn't realize this was a 3D gameplay overhaul. My Price point of $10 just dropped to $5.

I'm betting on "shits all over childhood memories".

It would be amazing if this game were good but I have a feeling that isn't going to happen sadly. Who didn't love Oregon Trail back in the day?

Well, it's by Red Wagon Games, so it most likely will be shovelware, but who knows.

At $20, I don't expect much. I really hope that it plays like the original that Number 83 posted a picture of.
