The best way to beat the first wave of them, by the cars, is to avoid as many of them as possible. Make a beeline for the apartment buildings (going through the brush far to the right).
That's kind of what I did when I played through on normal. I died there a lot.
I finally took a couple of them out and then hossed it straight for the beacon marker on my compass.
Man, why must my job make me program in languages other than COBOL.
Visual Basic .net is the Devil incarnate!
WTF... are you older than shrike? you actually *KNOW* COBOL? What about FORTRAN? pfffft. Visual Basic was a cakewalk last time I played with it, though I'm not sure how the new .NET extension messes with it...
pervert
It's from the movie version of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Second line of the cheer, munch put up the first line of it.
4 cores is tempting, but I'm not sure just how much more performance it offers over two. I'm waiting on an answer from the guys that know their stuff in the PC forum.
As your later posts had you wondering about Penryn CPU's, I think going with a Q6600 as a cheap 4-CPU entry point would be a good idea. Games are moving to more multithreaded operation, and I doubt you'd see a lot of differences between a E6850 and a Q6600 for most non-gaming items. Most of the time, I think the Q6600 would be a better option.

why you gonna hit on some other tang, if your ex-tang is close?
you might as well be putting your wang up in the ex-tang, cause the ex-tang is atleast familiar with your wang and knows what to do with her tang on top of your wang.
i say you and i rule this zombie text game. we'll hold up somewhere and agree to let people in, but back out at the last second and have everybody die in front of our hideout. i wonder if humans can shoot other humans? i'd wander around until i found budge and pop two shells up in that bitch ass.

Yes Humans can shoot him humans, I hope you have like 500 bullets and several days, because you like never hit anyone. Also I can add you to the enemy of Cheap Ass Survivors List.

Yea, you can kill whoever you want. Though, guns suck for accuracy.
Not sure if this is one of the OTT's DS obsessions or not, but how is Pictionary? I think it's $20 at Toys R Us, and if the game's any good I'll probably go for it this weekend when I talk my friends into giving me a ride.

It's not the years, it's the mileage. I don't belieive I am as old as Shrike, but I am around his age, I beleive.
I do know a 'few' mainframe programming languages. The thing is many, many people who know the Old School languages are now retiring and beleive it or not, there are still many places that NEED COBOL programmers to fill the role and pay lots of sums of money to do so. I happen to be in that "role".
VB6 is what the program I am working on was created in, and what I know. Since we upgraded to .net, there are lots of conversion errors that I have to fix. It's getting easier the more I play with it.
Nah, I wouldn't put you unless you were being a real asshole and PKing people left and right. Which I think even that is a bit below you.
COBOL and FORTRAN programmers are still in demand. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that. Until old legacy systems that use those two languages are completely gone from the Earth, we'll still need people for them.
i'll let you in on our secret hideout, then melee you from 20 feet away in the back of the head as if my hand was a vacuum and your cranium was a dust ball.
i mean... just join the game, and i'll keep you safe.
blood in a battletoads game?!?! : ( ... do want. : (
go figure, EA used to make GOOD games.
take that back, you big box of fail. : [

I should look into getting one of those things that lets me use one of the wireless 360 controllers on my pc. Emulators would be so much more fun that way. The gravis pad I have sucks hairy man sack.
