No I mean Garland. Before Six Flags bought up those parks, there was one in Garland. That was the only place I ever remember seeing it. Even Tilt downtown didn't have it back in the day.


Also Wet n' Wild in Garland was the shit. No one ever went there, the rides were better, and you rode a mat when you went down the brown slide (the same ones you use on the ride next to the Blue Niagra).

That'd probably be hard dude... cause you got the leg with the independent kick pedal rhythm and the drumstick rhythm, then the nose of the drums directly into your mic.... sounds like it's a trainwreck waiting to happen.

I said F it to my "ninja" style on CoD4.

I was tired of barely getting 1.0 K/D ratio with it. I'm a bad ninja.

Went back to RPD with grip. +Juggernaut+Deep Impact

Went back to 2.0+ K/D ratio. Including many FFA games with 20-5ish.
I run and gun.

War might be ugly, but the game itself looks *nice*. The first time chika saw it in action, she was impressed.

Also, I bet it makes you sad that I had CoD4 for that triple for 24 hours or something but returned it cause it was intended to be part of the christmas gifting. You could've been pwning me like a noob.

Hey, while I have you here, Mr. HDTV -- what's the deal with blocky stuff -- usually in areas of very similar colors... do you know what I mean? I assume it's cause of my TV and something with the contrast ratio or whatever, but I'm not expert.
 
It's nice visually with the smooth framerate, and all the action going on.
Great scripted events, great sense of 'you're there'.

But ugly ass textures.

Great game, finally something hooked me.
 
The 60fps help a lot, since the game isn't 720p native. It does look quite nice and I'm still impressed even after all this time with the game.

When someone posted that video of the level with the snow for christmas, it looked like ass -- I was pleasantly surprised when I fired it up the first time though.
 
That was a youtube video of someone running the PC version. They could have had a crappy setup, but yeah, didn't look that great (quality wise).

Well, since it was COD4, I figured it was 360/PS3/PC -- however, the shit looked like it was running on an N64 (Goldeneye-ish or something). I thought there was no way it could be *that* bad, since I'd seen/played bioshock... but still, it was nice to put it in with that video in my subconcious and see the difference.

Y'know I don't think I've ever played on that level with the snow...=/
 
They have the PC version set up at Frys on a 36" LCD.
Max settings.

Really, no difference that I could tell.
Other than it was super easy to pick off bad guys with a mouse.

Games? Movies? TV shows?

It's called macroblocking, you usually see it on TV shows and movies due to bad compression.

It's all but eliminated in HD media transfers though, if it's a good encode.
Not your TV, just the source.

Mostly TV, though I saw it a little in the beginning of Bioshock, when you're swimming up from the water after the plane crashes.

On the TV, it's usually in skylines... like on the news when they have the city backdrop, or on discovery when they showed shanghai at sunset... usually it has to do with areas where the colors are really similiar.

Also, why didn't anyone tell me that Deltron 3030 is the fucking shizzle?

I think I could pull of the dracula bloodines no damage one with a little patience...

But the 200.6% (I don't think I've ever gotten higher than 198 or so) and the playthrough as belmont seem like they'd be slightly aggravating.

bloodlines was really easy, i think i got that the first time i played it.

just grab the cross at the beginning of the stage, load up on hearts, whoop his ass with the whip as a human, then when he transforms, hit him with the special 3-4 times.

too bad my fuckin' xbox won't let me recover SOTN, TMNT1989, and Rush N Attack. : ( i got SOTN for that triple though. : )

Yep, I never see him. I have avs/images/sigs all turned off. I don't see how anyone can stand CAG with sigs on. 98% of them are garbage.

There are different Samsung drives. You can't tell which you have unless you open up your 360.

MS25 is super easy. The easiest of any 360 drive.

MS28 (what I have) is sort of a bitch. It requires a certain VIA SATA card and precise timing.

MS28+ (anything higher than MS28) requires soldering to remove restrictors and then it's the same as a MS28 (VIA card/precise timing).

What manufacture date is the Samsung in question?

You should play Hardcore TD/S&D in CoD4 then. Shit is dollars. I love how the game looks without a HUD.

It's probably a MS28, but it may be a MS25.

Mine is September 19 2006.

I think Trakan's was around July 06 and he had a MS25.
