The OTT's Leaving Home

I don't think it's too unusual. Thinking of doing something on the REST OF YOUR LIFE scale always freaks me out a bit. I'm just about 24, have less than a year of college under my belt, and seemingly no closer to deciding what I wanna do career-wise than I was when I graduated high school sevenish years ago. That being said, I'm much happier virtually living paycheck to paycheck than if I was saving more money and living with my parents. I could never do that again.
Congratulations, flowery.

------------------------

Yeah, I'm just in a "don't know what I want to do for the rest of my life" crisis. I'm officially changing my major for the 3rd time on Monday.
Thank you very much.

Best of luck with whatever you decide.

that's cool, I changed mine 3 times also. Most people change a couple of times. I went from bio to nursing to health science.
This is the same lady who put perfectly good cookies in soap, isn't it? And you guys are missing out on living at home. It does have it's down side, but it makes life much easier when going to school.
yes, but the cookies were honestly a careless accident. she's neurotic and a neat freak and she was so freaked out by the kitchen being messy (we were in the middle of baking coxmas cookies, mind you) that she dumped trays of cookies into the sink not realizing there were still cookies on the trays. When I bake, I line my pans with parchment so that I don't need to wash pans between batches and she just forgot and dumped the whole stack of trays in the sink. The top tray didn't have any cookies on it, so she assumed they were all empty.
I had a dream, last night, that I was playing World Poker Tour on the old Xbox.

(I thought that game was ballin'.)
Complete with your creepy pedo guy character?

You know what happens when you assume things, right?

You ruin a perfectly good batch of cookies, that's what.

Rocko-

My first major was Business Administration. Then I started fully researching the field and decided that it wasn't challenging enough. Plus, I convinced myself that I wasn't cut out to be part of the cut-throat business world, because somewhere along the lines, you're going to be ripping somebody off, and I'm not all about that. In addition to that, it just wasn't interesting to me. It is so bland to me.

My current and second major is Computer Science. Challenging enough--I went into the field blindly but my interest in the way the logic of computers and the way they work is still there, it just seems too theoretical to be applied to "real" world issues that the promise of a job seems like a dream. The programming aspect of the whole ordeal pains me and is beyond my scope of patience/intelligence.

I really would love to continue, because I'm sure that I haven't even begun to scrape the surface of it all but my heart is telling me "no."

I'll find my niche, sooner or later. I just have to look/research hard.

I see myself doing the same thing only because I have no idea what I want to do. I plan on putting chemistry or chemical engineering on my college applications. Not sure which as I haven't researched what the real difference is. I just know I'm really interested in chemistry, as of now, at least. As far as imagining myself doing something for the next 50 years, I just can't.
My mother and I were just discussing prize money during this match. On one hand I don't think women should get the same prize money since they play shorter matches. On the other hand, though, I'm not positive, but I'd wager that admittance to the women's finals costs the same as the men's finals, in which case I feel like it would be shitty if they got less prize money when the establishment is making the same amount of money.
Women's tennis has carried tennis for the last few years. The lack of competition in the men's game has caused a dip in interest, where as the women have had enough established stars to make people pay attention.

Maybe your interest, but men's tennis definitely gets more TV viewers for the major events.
I'll pin him down in the middle of the soccer field while you wallop him in the stomach and blow him, Marklershed.
You mean like how str?ll and m?r?? c?lb?rt planned to do to Liquid 2?
Did you ever say what you did with the book Mak? Is it at the bottom of your underwear drawer?
Hell no! Its propped up on a stand on my dresser.

(actually it was tossed in a burn pile the day after I received it)

apparently, i did not learn my lesson the other night. while it seems like a good idea, drinking instead of taking flu meds is not a good idea.
Can you do 3 part harmonies locally, or does it have to be over Live?
The E3 demo showed that it can be done locally, don't know if you can have more than 1 singer online.

Locally.
Rock Band 2 is what started the heavy scrutiny of the OTT, lets not have a repeat.

Thanks.
Was that too much? I wasn't going to get too explicit, I just want people to play with.
Hey wow, are you still gonna be in the keepers baseball league next year?
I think so, I sent in my keepers via email.
I think so, I sent in my keepers via email.
Oh, ok. The last email the commish sent with the keepers list had you as empty, looks like the new one he sent a couple of hours ago fixed it though.
No, it's a bit aways from where I am.
