Garage sales suck. I bought a tv for $5 and it didn't work. In any case, I'll trade you a tv for that TMNT cel
I'm good. Thanks, though. :)

The Subway by my house stopped their promotion where you got four subs for $10. That sucks, but the replacement (Chicken Caesar from Mr. Pita) was probably just as good.

Such a lazy day. Maybe I'll go back to paying off my mortgage to that damn raccoon...

Today was weird. I went to the Circuit city at 13 mile, and bought 5 games on the 8.96 deal. As I pile the games on the counter, they glare at me as if I just dropped trou and took a dump in the middle of the counter. They glare the entire time as they proceed with the check out, and then I leave.

I jump on to 94 and head to the Circuit city on 8 Mile... when I get there, they have the games in a display with huge signage, and the cashier, who's having a slow day, walks around with me and helps me find some of the games I'm looking for.

The difference between the two stores was ungodly.

"So then you flipped the accountant onto his back and attacked his wallet for MASSIVE SELLAGE!"

Wow, that's crazy. I think I already said this, but I'll say it again.

My CC cashier was dumbfounded at the sale hehe.

Anyway. What games?

... I went to CC and asked about a sale, and they said the only sale they had was last week. :bomb:

Yeah. My Circuit City sucked when I went last week. They had jack shit, so I'm not even thinking about checking them now. Not like there'll be anything this time.

Why are they called 13 mile and 8 mile? Are those city names?

Anyways I'm completely avoiding the CC sale. 1.) because I'm to lazy to drive out to Circuit City 2.) I have no money and 3.) If had the will and the money, chances are I won't find the games I want. But for the record the official reason is because I'm cutting back on my video game expenditures. It was one of my new year resolutions this year, I figure the end of June is as about as good a time to start it as any.

No... I mentioned that because I was replying to walrus.
The entire metro Detroit area is a giant grid system starting from Michigan Avenue (0 mile) and progressing through the entire area.

Here's a wikipedia link on the subject (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mile_Road_System_(Detroit)) ).

I've had some experiences with the staff at the 13 Mile store being jerks, so you're not alone there. I usually don't go to the 8 Mile store, but the one in the Oakland Mall parking lot is usually good to me.

If it wasn't for those GameCube games I'd found today, I'd consider giving that 8 Mile store a visit... :whistle2:k

Nice. Probably my single favorite episode of 24, or at least one of my favorite, is on my UPN affiliate right now. Day 2 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The one where they take care of the bomb and Jack makes that call to Kim which is probably one of the most emotional things I've seen. Plus it's got George being absolutely hilarious on the plane.

Wearing sweatpants to school during puberty: The Mythy of the Exploding Pants

I used to dread sharpening my pencil in 7th grade.

That's kind of like the negative version of discovering that you now have a sizeable hole in front of your pants after getting a lapdance.
Of course, getting back to your home/hotel room without anyone noticing takes some doing.

Today must be my lucky day. I was coming back home from camping and was doing 95-105MPH the whole way, and the lucky part was I passed 2 cops along the way and neither of them pulled me over. :applause: Glad to see our law service is hard at work.

*edit*
forgot to mention I was going so fast cuz I was racing with this camero. He pulled up by me while I was doing 95, then he sped up and passed me, he probably got up to 115MPH. And I said "OH no he didn't!" So I sped up a little to 110MPH, he was ahead of me for a good 20 minutes, before I passed him. I'm sure he just slowed down at fear of getting a ticket, I mean a ticket for doing 115MPH probably isn't cheap.

It slowy draws to a close...

I just realized I'm drawing close to one year here on CAG. Actually, I may have already hit it.

my god this DS Lite is far too fancy for a mere game machine. I justify this purchase on the basis of a longer battery life and better stylus, not the better screen.

So my friends called me at 12 and decided that we needed to watch the original Omen, since they had seen the remake an hour earlier (I saw it a few days ago with my gf and mom).

We ended up MST3K'ing most of it.

Best quotes:

(Gregory Peck walks out of psychaitrist office using a door that blends in perfectly with the wall)
HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT DOOR WAS THERE?

(Nurse, after telling Peck where to find the priest from 5 years before, jumps up on this open-door elevator)
Away!!!

(Peck meets Boogenhagen, who proceeds to say "Now, let us get on with this.")
....Yes, I have a lot of comic books to read.

We also think "Boogenhagen" is the funniest name ever, and that there's probably footage of outtakes of people bursting into laughter over the hilarity of the name. "Boogen BWAHAHAHHA!!!"

Also, GRegory Peck is 100% all man. It was fucking scary. Those eyebrows looked like they could home in on ass for him to kick.

And everytime he spoke, I'm pretty sure women just orgasmed.

Hell, by the end of the movie, I was doing the same thing.

It's always fun when you start sweeping your deck at 3AM, only to have the broom head fall off. And fall off the deck. From the third story. Then sneaking down and trying to find it by some other persons house when the cops are out patrolling. All while trying not to crack up laughing at the stupidity of the situation.

Nintendo wifi sucks. I was just playing Tetris online and out of 4 matches I won none. The first three times I lost, I could've sworn that guy was cheating. And on the fourth time I played someone else and just as I was about to win he got disconnected. Between all the DS games I've taken online I don't think I've won once.

I have to come up with some abstract street comedy to film this summer...

That kind of shit always makes me nervous, though. I have to put myself in a psychological niche / zone.
My gf woke up at 5 a.m. to get a drink of water and noticed vomit all over her bathroom. AWESOME!
sounds like somebody had a rough night... ahh, to be young and in college. :whistle2:#

Huh. I wasn't aware that Stephanie from Full House had a meth addiction. I'd have expected it from Gibbler, but her? Hmm.
