Underground in the sense that they aren't very well known. It's rap, but I wouldn't recommend it to you since I know you like mainstream stuff, you probably wouldn't like this. But, give it a listen and you might suprise yourself.

mid 20's, dont "get" the point of a windbreaker (just wear a fucking coat) , and i KNOW what thats all about...i just didnt care for it myself. There's a shitload worse out there, and this is nowhere near the half the dredge out their..its just not for me.

Anyone remember those windbreakers pull-over jackets with the huge ass pouch in the front that were all the rave in the '90s, which came in a barrage of neon colors? I think there was a kangaroo gimmick incorporated with it.

I had a neon pink one in second grade. I went to school with the flu and, on the playground, puked in the pouch (by accident). Pretty handy spot for vomit, I must say... but, man... did I reek the rest of the day.

Never remember those days. When I get older and my grandchildren ask "What was the fad when you were in high school" i'll respond with "Slitting your wrists, listening to EMO music, and wearing Vanz shoes."

When I grew up (late '80s - early '90s), I'd say it was a pretty good time. When you look at Nickelodeon of old and the Nickelodeon of today, you wonder what the fuck happened.

What's stopping you, punq? That's a simple weekend project. Depending on the depth you'd want, there wouldn't even be that much in the way of supplies.

A couple boards for the shelves, a couple brackets, some varnish and a few larger boards for the sides... then hit the craft store for some fabric and badding to line it with (and a sewing machine if you wants to go all out and make the interior look quilted.
(If you're really into it, you'd probably even want a couple hinges to add a door)

Eh, it's all simple carpentry, and then a couple of extra touches to add a little more authenticity. For a the work it would take to frame it correctly and make it look nice, a little lining would help to pull the project together.
 
I want to make a shelf book. A shelf made of books that you put wooden shelves in.

Kittens shouldn't be killed. It's just because humans are taking up so much god damn space. If the kittens had more space and resources that humans take they'd be fine.
